Commander Stilwell raised an eyebrow, unbothered by the question. "What? How did I know that my own brother's body contains your soul—and his soul too? The walls have ears, Alec," Stilwell replied coolly, his voice carrying a note of amusement.
"It's not really a curse," Alec muttered, frustration creeping into his tone. "It's more of a blessing… one I don't want right now."
Stilwell smirked. "No wonder. I wouldn't have noticed it if I didn't know for myself. You cloaked both your souls from being detected. I'd expect nothing less from a former commander, even though you're not as powerful as you were in your real body."
