The air around him shimmered with heat as his hands ignited into flames. With a cinematic flourish, Liu Wei manipulated molten rocks into a gigantic 50 meter hand made of magma that erupted from the ground, catching his fall effortlessly. The molten magma hand glowed ominously, casting flickering shadows across the battlefield below.
Liu Wei stood with curiousity and rage upon witnessing the destruction cause by carnage, his gaze focused on the horde of Carnage devouring human flesh and hunters that have died during the mission. One of the carnage senses flesh nearby and saw Liu Wei standing in one of the fingers of his created hand made of molten magma structure, a shriek was unleash by the carnage to alert the rest, every carnage took notice and senses Liu Wei presence, every carnage across the province shrieks, and charge towards the gigantic hand made of molten magma, Liu Wei took notice of the carnage rampage slowly closing in with there speed and thirst for flesh, In Wei hands, a spear made of magma materialized, its fiery glow matching the intensity of his Fury. From Liu Wei's elevated perspective, the Carnage below resembled ants swarming towards him, driven by their insatiable hunger and aggression.
With precision and speed that belied his massive stature, Liu Wei hurled the molten spear close to the speed of sound. The spear struck the ground amidst the charging Carnage, unleashing a devastating explosion that incinerated half of the approaching horde in a blaze of molten fury. The shockwave rippled through the air, scattering debris and Carnage alike in its wake.
Undeterred by the destruction, Liu Wei conjured another molten lava spear in his hands and launched it with deadly accuracy with a cost of high amounts of energy. Even as some Carnage managed to breach the defenses of the molten magma hand, Liu Wei's golems made of rocks and magma swiftly dispatched them, crushing and incinerating any that drew near. For an intense hour, Liu Wei single-handedly decimated the entire army of Carnage, leaving nothing but smoldering remnants in his wake.
Mark couldn't help but smile in admiration and awe at the sheer power and skill displayed by Liu Wei. The ease with which a strong hunter could eradicate such overwhelming odds filled Mark with determination. He knew that one day, he too would strive to achieve the level of strength and power over his abilities that Liu Wei exemplified.
As the battlefield quieted and the last embers of the Carnage flickered out. Liu Wei called the HQ of the Chinese Hunters Defense Force. "I have exterminated the horde of Carnage in Heilongjiang Province," he reported before ending the call. As Wei walked away from the scene, the earth began to shake intensely.
From above, the news helicopter couldn't see what was happening, but a massive tentacle emerged from the ground, heading straight for them. The reporter saw it coming and screamed, but the tentacle struck the helicopter, causing it to explode mid-air. The broadcast ended abruptly, leaving Mark at a loss for words.
Liu Wei sensed the danger and turned around just as cracks began to appear in the ground under the Heilongjiang Province, glowing with an ominous orange-red light appears from the cracks. Suddenly, another tentacle swung towards Wei. He jumped to avoid it, but the impact shattered the molten magma hand he had created, splitting it in half. Wei landed on the shaking ground, and from beneath the earth, two massive crimson claws, resembling those of a crab, emerged on either side of him. Wei looked around, feeling fear for the first time.
He quickly called HQ again, shouting, "Hello!" His voice trembled with fear.
"Liu Wei, what's happening? We detected a massive Carnage energy spike at your location!" the voice from HQ responded urgently.
"Send backup! Now!" Wei shouted, his eyes darting around in panic.
"Yes, sir! They're on their way!" came the reply.
The colossal Carnage slowly revealed its monstrous grotesque face and body, towering over the landscape and covering the entire province with its sheer size. Liu Wei looked up in horror at the 200-meter-tall crab-like Carnage, its body bristling with hundreds of gigantic tentacles. Its red exoskeleton glowed with orange light from its openings, and it let out a deafening shriek that echoed across the land. Wei's fear turned to rage as he attempted to create another gigantic magma hand. However, before he could, the crab-like Carnage generated a bright orange energy beam from its two claws and fired it at Wei's location.
Wei quickly formed a barrier of gigantic magma rocks around him to block the beam. But inside the barrier, the intense heat and energy caused the rocks to crack. In the distance, an A-Class female sniper named Chen Mei took aim with her crimson sniper rifle, focusing on the Carnage's claws. With precise concentration, Mei fired a powerful crimson bullet, destroying the right claw of the Carnage. The claw fell, and the beast shrieked in pain.
Redirecting its attack, the Carnage continued firing the beam from its left claw. The beam's intensity began to fade as Mei's bullet disrupted its energy flow. Wei's barrier, though cracked, held long enough for the beam to weaken. The colossal crab-like Carnage roared again, its injured claw hanging uselessly. Liu Wei, seizing the opportunity, prepared for another assault, his eyes filled with determination and fury.
In the distance, Chen Mei stood with her crimson sniper rifle slung over her shoulder. Four A-Class hunters emerged and sprinted towards Wei's location. Chen Mei, a non-gifted hunter, coordinated the approach while two gifted and two non-gifted hunters joined the fray. One non-gifted hunter wielded dual swords, and the other carried a spear. The gifted hunters, one a fire user and the other an earth user, displayed abilities passed down through their lineages for thousands of years.
Liu Wei, his energy depleted from previous battles, unleashed gigantic hands made of molten magma to grab the Carnage's claws. Despite his exhaustion, he held on fiercely. Suddenly, the ground beneath the colossal Carnage began to sink. The beast struggled to free itself as its claws were tightly gripped by Wei's molten magma hands. Xu Lan, using her earth abilities, buried half of the Carnage's body in the ground.
Sun Yu leaped across the province, his spear aflame. He hurled it at the hardened exoskeleton of the Carnage's upper head shell, cracking it upon impact. The Carnage shrieked loudly, thrashing in pain. Sun Yu retreated, and Li Ming stepped forward, his body wreathed in flames. With a pointed finger, he directed a concentrated fire towards the Carnage, slowly cooking its massive form.
Despite their combined efforts, the crab-like Carnage continued to fight. Its left claw manage to subdue Wei's molten magma hand and began to generate another energy beam. Zhao Hui, with her dual swords, moved swiftly. She leaped into the air, slashing through the Carnage's weaponized claws, severing them cleanly.
The Carnage let out a final, deafening shriek as its weapons were cut down. The combined might of the hunters had finally brought it to the brink of defeat. As the flames and molten magma surrounded the beast, its colossal form began to weaken. The hunters, relentless and united, prepared to deliver the finishing blow, knowing that their victory was near.
