Leylin's POV
"It's simple, we're going to merge," I said, attaching the other earring.
"Huh?" she said before receiving information in her head.
[Test, test, can you hear me?] I asked mentally.
[Uh... yes, but why can I hear you when you're not talking?] Amity asked, intrigued.
I began to explain to Amity the principles of my Potara earrings.
The Potara earrings are actually mini crystal balls resembling earrings.
Normally, witches who practice the Oracle coven use crystal balls to observe and communicate with other witches who possess a crystal.
So, I wondered if I could combine Lilith's favorite spell for sharing senses, problems, and injuries between two individuals, and if possible, their magical reserve.
Of course, the function of the "Pain Sharing Spell" in healing magic isn't really intended to combine individuals' senses or their magical energy, but Oracle magic precisely touches on the realm of mind and energy.
So I had to ask my sister Emira for help, and since the "Pain Sharing Spell" isn't too complex in healing magic, she was able to easily, with my help, imbue my crystal balls to create a fusion spell of sorts, or an artifact?
To put it simply, healing magic focuses on the body and Oracle magic focuses on the mind and energy. I wanted to combine the two to instinctively affect two individuals.
I really don't know if the spell on my crystal balls will dissipate or if it will be permanent.
But it's been hours since the spell was activated, and I'm starting to suspect that it will remain active by feeding on the magical energy of two witches wearing the earrings.
For now, the earring holders can share their emotions, thoughts, communicate telepathically, and even share their magical energy reserve.
In the future, I want to be able to transfer memory fragments between witches or even consciousness between two individuals, but that's still far off.
I forbade Emira from talking about their total functionalities, but in exchange, she asked for my help to make another pair of earrings with her.
I explained to Amity how the earrings worked, and she seemed excited.
[That's cool], she said enthusiastically.
[Mother's magic is amazing, Father's on the other hand...] She wanted to say more but held back.
Unfortunately for her, I could sense that she was embarrassed thanks to the earrings.
[Don't worry, you can also learn Mother's magic, remember? Haha], I said, laughing a little.
My words made her smile again, she nodded, clearly more motivated before getting up to leave.
[My earring?] I asked before she left.
[I like it, so I'm going to keep it], she said mentally while looking at me before sticking out her tongue and quickly leaving.
[Okay, you can keep it, but please take it off before going to the bathroom], I said loudly mentally before removing my earring.
I didn't want to know how a girl feels when she goes to the bathroom, just thinking about it gives me chills.
"I wonder if I can use this thing as a spy object if I manage to mask certain functions," I muttered, observing my earring.

"Why do you all have that thing on your ear?" Odalia asked, observing us all seated at the table.
"It's Leylin's idea, it allows us to communicate faster in the house," Edric declared, nodding slightly towards his twin sister.
It seemed he had received words from Emira when Odalia had asked this question.
"I see, I had already thought about using crystal balls this way, but I'm surprised that Leylin can think of it and put it into practice alone," she said, nodding with satisfaction.
"It seems you're really gifted at following your mother's magic. Are you sure you want to learn my magic too?" Alador asked, looking at me while eating.
"Yes, father, I also want to see the world your way," I said without hesitation.
Although mother's magic is powerful and versatile, father's is too.
I even find it more effective in certain areas than mother's, such as in direct combat or in creating traps and combat troops.
"You're really too greedy, son. You remind me of a certain witch," he said without thinking too much.
"Darling, don't talk about that woman at the table," Odalia declared, frowning.
"Sorry for mentioning that person, but you should stop frowning so much, you might get wrinkles," Alador declared without thinking too much.
"Darling, you'll be sleeping on the couch," Odalia declared, leaving without a word.
"Did I say something stupid?" Alador asked, looking at us before shrugging and continuing to eat nonchalantly.
Sometimes, I really wonder if he's truly a genius. He's incapable of seeing through his wife or understanding her thoughts.
I wonder if I was like him in my past life.
No, I must chase these dark ideas from my mind. Deception is not the fault of the victim but the choice of the partner.
"I'm done," I said, leaving the table.
[Good night and don't do anything silly], I said mentally to Amity as I left.
[Good night and don't stay up too late with your books], she replied in return.
"Since you've had these earrings, you've all become extremely quiet," father said, looking towards Emira and Edric who were eating their meal while glancing at each other before laughing to themselves.
If someone wasn't aware of the earrings, they might take them for idiots.

"I'm going," I said, leaving the house.
I wasn't going to town like Amity since I wasn't accompanied or old enough to go there alone.
So I'm going behind the house to train and observe the landscapes of the Boiling Isles to relax. I hope that one day the Titan can give me some Glyphs.
I remember Glyphs with simple designs like Luz's plant one, but I've forgotten most of them. I really need to master Oracle magic to improve my mind and memory at the same time.
Once I found a good spot, I began to meditate and focus on my magical organ near the heart.
I've read enough books on Oracle magic and my mother has already taught me the basics. I think I can try telekinesis without a magic circle.
Magic without a magic circle is extremely hard. Normally, witches use mediums like palismans to do it.
If they don't have a palisman, they need to feel strong emotions to exploit more magic and finally succeed in doing magic without a magic circle.
Of course, there are exceptions to the rule.
In the end, I was only able to make the stones around me tremble, but nothing notable for the evolution of telekinesis without a magic circle.
"Yet it's simple with a circle," I said, frowning. I simply traced a circle and the stones around me began to float before spinning in the air.
"Let's see if I can do this," I muttered, imitating one of Rudeus' emblematic attacks.
I began to modify the shape of the stones in the air before densifying them and giving them the shape of a ball.
"There," I said to help keep a clear mental image of my intention.
*Crack* sound of collision.
There were holes in the surrounding trees and I could see they were pierced through.
"I don't understand why witches don't train their telekinesis but use it more for everyday tasks," I said, marveling at my attack.
If I can do this instantly by thought, then no witch or demon on this island can face me for more than a few seconds.
They'll just end up being riddled with holes if they don't have a sufficiently solid magical defense.
