"Well… but what should I do? The lobby manager? Assistant manager? Supervisor? Front desk clerk?" He looked at Liam, who seemed noncommittal, and quickly turned to Daniel. "I mean, Silver Fox, don't blame me. I really don't know anything. How about I go and suggest getting a lobby manager for her to work with?"
Daniel, however, was just downing his drink, seemingly ignoring Chi Yu's words.
Chi Yu wanted to say something else, but Liam elbowed him, stopping him from speaking.
"Hey, are you two having a lovers' quarrel?" Chi Yu couldn't help but ask. "Did you get caught by Zervini because you were being unfaithful again?"
"Shut up…" Daniel replied coldly.
"Who should shut up?" A clear female voice interrupted their conversation.
They both looked up and stood up in unison. "Sister-in-law…"
Seeing the calm and smiling Kacey in front of them, both were taken aback. Their gazes then shifted to Jasper behind her, who wore a helpless expression.
