In the afternoon, Jessa returned to collect her belongings, intending to leave. Just as she was about to exit the room. Antonette couldn't help herself anymore. Jessa's presence make her feel suffocating so she bravely spoke up. She think she is the class hero and as the class president, she have to do this.
"Why did Ms. Garcia have to leave? If her replacement is just a freak," Antonette muttered softly, but it was enough for Jessa to hear.
PAK! A heavy palm landed on Antonette's cheek.
Jessa slap her with force that makes her red.
Antonette's cheek got swolen because of that strong slap.
"I'll report you to the principal!" Antonette threatened.
"Go ahead if you want!" Jessa replied boldly. Then she walked out of the door and moved away from their room.
"What do we do now?" Romeo asked Antonette.
"We'll ruin her reputation. Did you capture it on video?" Antonette responded.
"Ah, yes," Romeo confirmed.
"What do we do with the video? How do we tarnish her reputation?" Romeo asked, still confused.
"You know, you're always slow... Just watch and see," Antonette smirked.
The whole class fell silent as their English instructor entered the room that is Mrs. Sunshine.
Meanwhile, as Jessa headed toward the next classroom, a young man had been watching her since she left their room. He was the one who had given her the red rose earlier that day but it was sent trough his cousin who was also a teacher and a female. He noticed that she wasn't carrying the red rose he sent her.
Next time, he wanted to make sure that the flowers he is about to send her will not go to waste even if he wasted a lot of money.
At the same time, Romnick who was following Jessa is so angry at Rowena too. Then he notice the connection between Jessa and this man.
"So he is link to my Jessa" Romnick taught to himself and disappear besides Jessa.
Jefferson was dumbstruck, Romnick does not leave him alone behind Jessa. He is afraid that Jefferson would attack her while he is not around. Most of the time if he leaves he will grab Jefferson with him. Sometime he will trap him in the space world but it will be always a long fight before Romnick able to completely trap Jefferson. He needs to exhaust all of Jefferson 's energy before he can trap him.
The man revealed to be the source of the red rose was still standing looking at Jessa in the opposite building.
Suddenly, someone whispered in her left ear.
"STOP FOLLOWING HER!"
The man felt nervous after what happened. He looked around, but there was no one near him.
"Who are you?" He asks.
When he glanced at Jessa again, she was entering the room he was about to discuss her subject.
"Quit early or else fail" the whisper on his right ear come again.
He clearly hear the message as if someone was just next to him whispering in his ears.
The guy was afraid and walk away and tried to look for his companions.
After a while, Romnick apeared again besides Jessa who was discussing the lesson infront of the class.
"Why did you not attack him while I was away?" Romnick asks Jefferson.
"Because I'm happy right now" Jefferson answered. This puzzled Romnick so he asks,
"What makes you happy.?"
"Haha, because Jessa is in trouble. I would be happy if she is sad, hurt, sick or in trouble. That what makes me happy don't you know":Jefferson answered.
"Damn you!" Romnick curse.
He plunged at Jefferson and grab his head and they both disappeared.
The two appeared on that space world not belonging to the world of the living nor the world of the dead nor hell or heaven. It is a completely different world, a world of there own.
"You are asking for a beating!" Yelled Romnick as soon as they appear on the space world.
"I will fight you, loser!" Jefferson yelled back at him.
"This loser is going to beat you up until you crawl" Romnick said.
"You are still a loser here even if you beat me up hahahahaha"
Jefferson continue to laugh even though he receives a series of punches from Romnick. He even did not try to dodge all the attack nor defend himself.
Romnick stop beating Jefferson realizing his opponent is not fighting back.
Jefferson continue to laugh.
"Jessa is in trouble and has a new suitor you see, I'm the winner. Hahahahaha!" Jefferson was still laughing like a madman and Romnick just leave him like that.
Romnick, the ever-watchful ghost, always kept an eye on Jessa. His love for her remained unwavering, despite the pain she had caused him in the past. He couldn't bear to see her hurt by anyone else, even though she had hurt him before.
But It pained him to witness Jessa's happiness in the arms of another man. He is so jealous about it. He was there when she scolded her unruly students, and he knew who was responsible for the trashcan tipping incident. Jessa's words about discarding the white rose he had given her still stung him his soul like a virus that is making his spirit weak.
And then there was Antonette, the disrespectful student who tested his patience. Romnick silently labeled her as "lacking in manners."
But when Jessa slapped Antonette, Romnick felt a strange sense of satisfaction. As long as he was by Jessa's side, even if she didn't know it, even if she couldn't love him back, he would protect her from Jefferson's sinister plans.
Romnick reminisced about the white roses he had diligently saved up for during high school. He had scrimped on his allowance just to afford those tokens of his unwavering love for Jessa. Not long after he realize a extraordinary white rose that does not wither. He wanted to give this kind of flower to Jessa which symbolize his undying love for her but that was the day Jessa decided to break up with him.
And now, he hatched a plan to scare Rowena into giving Jessa the white rose back. Swiftly, he made his way to the third-year class where Jessa was the adviser, ready to set his plan in motion.
Swiftly, he wrote a message on Rowena's desk:
Give the white flower back to Jessa
Rowena, trembled with fear, noticed the letters appearing one by one on her desk. She tried to get Jane's attention, but Jane couldn't see the mysterious writing. Romnick's ghostly presence had unnerved Rowena, and she was too afraid to speak.
Their English instructor interrupted, reminding the class not to forget the rules. Romnick adjusted his strategy. He wrote another message, more direct this time:
Give the white rose back to Jessa.
Rowena's anxiety grew as she saw the words materialize on her desk. She frantically tried to get Jane's attention, but Jane only looked confused. Rowena's fear intensified when she realized the gravity of the situation as Romnick show himself besides her and touch her hands
"Give my white flower back to Jessa" Romnick said.
And then, it happened. Rowena collapsed and fall out of her seat fainting from the shock. Their classmates rushed to her side, concerned and bewildered. The English instructor called for an ambulance, a strong sense of fear was in her voice.
As the chaos unfolded, Romnick spotted Jefferson on the campus. He decided to leave and find Jessa. His unwavering determination to protect her drove him forward, even in his soul form.
