Gu Shi Yi came to a standstill and looked around. Just as the Red Fox said, it was another cave, with a pool inside. The lotus flower in the pool had already wilted, lifeless in the dried-up basin. Past the pool was a glowing cave entrance, and not far ahead was the exit.
Gu Shi Yi walked over and examined the neat incision under the lotus flower, clicking her tongue and shaking her head,
"Damn, women really have the deadliest hearts!"
She reached out and took the Dragon Lotus, noticing that most of its leaves had withered, only a few in the center were still fresh. They looked delicate and enticing. Gu Shi Yi plucked a petal and put it in her mouth. It was tasteless, but not unpleasant.
"It'd be a pity to just throw it away. Since it can be used in alchemy, it must be edible. If they can't eat it, maybe I can!"
Good stuff shouldn't go to waste!
