Ji Yanchen and Ye Li arrived at the secondary residence to find Yuanbao, who was already on vacation, stacking up a tall tower of building blocks.
Upon seeing the two, Yuanbao's little legs joyfully bounced as he skillfully hugged Ye Li around the waist, and flashed her a sweet smile, "Fairy Sister, long time no see."
Ye Li, feeling the sweetness in her heart from the greeting and overflowing with maternal love, gently kissed his little face, "Brother brought you a gift today."
Yuanbao tilted his head to look at Ji Yanchen, having shed the initial unfamiliarity, "Did Brother buy it for Yuanbao?"

The box was huge, almost half as tall as Yuanbao.
And it was evident that Ji Yanchen was still not used to interacting with children. Even his speech was a bit awkward, yet he crouched down and gently looked at the little tyke in front of him, "A belated birthday gift."
