Xie Shang entered KE's headquarters less than a month ago, and the Management Committee was rapidly reshuffled, much to the surprise of Xie Jingxian.
"What you're doing is too risky."
Surveillance and strategizing were Xie Shang's strengths, and he responded with ease, "KE's internal bureaucracy is overly severe, it's about time these tumors were removed."
That may be true, but too heavy-handed an approach could make one a target for all.
"There are definitely issues with the Management Committee, but an overly clear water could harbor no fish."
"The water won't clear," Xie Shang, recently accustomed to wearing glasses, covered half his face with his palm, lightly pushing up his glasses before lowering his head to drink tea, seeming to grasp all unchangeable factors with an air of calm, "Isn't my father still around?"
Xie Jingxian didn't oppose Xie Shang's purge of corruption from the law firm, but he was reluctant to see members of the Xie Family fight amongst themselves.
