"We have dealt with bandits so carriages can move again, let's go they are waiting, we have to think of a way to deal with alive bandits."
Mina said in a serious tone, she was kudere type of a girl so I just nodded I asked the merchant leader to resume our journey after 5 minutes all carriages have started moving after about 15 minutes of traveling we finally reached the place were bandits were lying in ambush.
So after I made sure that the bandits in the forest weren't moving so it is safe for now.
"So what do you say we do with these bandits?"
Taylor asked in a serious tone, I didn't react to it much, as I was doing my best to not feeling nauseated my thoughts went back to when I killed bandits when I came to this world, when I killed them I did my best to ignore them and left the place as early as possible but right now we have to discuss about the gates of alive bandits, to my surprise merchant wasnt pale at all despite seeing dead bodies.
"Next town is just a day away, so it could be easy money for you guys, I will allow it as long as 2 people keep watch on them at all times but I will ask for 20 percent reduction in quest rewards."
The merchant said in a serious tone, I was surprised by his thoughts thinking about profit in a situation like this is honestly impressive, Taylor shook his head in denial.
"That doesn't seem right 20 percent reduction in quest rewards is too much I will agree for 7 percent reduction."
Taylor said in serious tone.
"7 percent is too low, your making hefty money by handing these bandits to authority, I am not asking for that money I just want you to reduce your pay from this quest."
Merchant leader said stubbornly.
"My final prize is 10 percent I am not going above it in reducing the quest rewards."
Taylor said with a tone of finality.
"Well we have a long standing relationship so I agree with the 10 percent proposal."
The merchant leader said giving up 20 percent.
After deciding their fate, Bandits were interrogated it seems 2 groups of bandits have decided to combine and make big loot before hiding so we dealt with 2 groups of bandits, we also woke up bandits in forest and explained there situation Gurran used some sort of poison that allowed him to control the bandits, though they can only do simple task like walking , but it was still preety creepy poison if you ask me.
After the interrogating of bandits it was finally time for us to return to our journey to the next town right now Taylor and Brittany were watching over bandits, while we have decided to equally divided the money among us five, when I mentioned I didn't do anything they said I could teach my mana search spell to Gurran in return I agreed almost instantly.
So I while they watched over the bandits and Mina was keeping an eye anymore attacks.
"So it isn't easy spell to master, it tests your skills in mana control, mana control is very important to learn this spell."
I started explaining my spell, I knew the rate at which I learn spell is honestly ridiculously fast normal people can't create spells with just a bit of practice one need to be fairly advanced mage to create any spell of our own.
"I see, then that's managable though I don't have much mana in terms of mana control I am quite confident."
Gurren replied with a rather confident smile on his face.
"But you will need strong magic power at first as your proficiency in the spell increases the amount of mana needed will decrease."
I continued my explanation, he nodded in understanding my explanation.
"Now that I have told you about requirements for this spell, I will explain how the spell works ."
I said with some excitement, Gurran also looked rather excited to learn about such a spell.
"First you have to spread your magic power around you as thinly as possible."
I explained about the spell in three different parts. He nodded as he tried to spread magic power thinly around him, he was able to do it on the 5th try, so I think he was telling truth about having great mana control.
"Now that you have completed the first step, you have to spread magic power in waves, but keep in mind you have to spread them as thinly as possible."
I continued teaching him he also was really deligent so I really enjoyed teaching him.
He was successful in this step after some more tries but with all this practice he lost about 10 percent of magic power.
"So we will rest a bit we can't have you low on mana while we are on the move."
I said in serious tone, I didn't want him to get hurt because of this practice.
"Yeah, your right, but please explain last step to me."
He said with excitement, I nodded.
"Now that you can send waves of mana out of the body you have to picture them colliding with everything and returning to you."
I explained last step but before we took the rest I decided to demonstrate the spell for him.
"Now I will show you demonstration try to observe the spell as closely as possible, we could try it after you have recovered all of your mana."
I said in serious tone as I demonstrated whole spell to him his eyes widened and he began observing how mana moved and how information returned he was also excited to try but he knew that it would be dangerous for him and his party if his magic power lowered too much by practicing the spell.
"After rest you could try the spell, I will go and help Mina with look out."
I said as I left the carriage were I was teaching him, he nodded but didn't say anything anymore he seems to be man of few words
