I decided it wasn't safe around here anymore, I can't remain ignorant about the situation of this world any longer I need someone who could tell me what's going on and based on that I could decide whether staying here is safe or not.
While I was musing over the situation and how many deaths it will cause Fiona approached me with a smile on her face, I decided to talk to her about it .
"You would have to wait for three hours for the examiners to return, you can either wait here or return in an hour or two "
Fiona said lightly she doesn't seem bothered by what happened earlier.
"Hey do you have time? I would like to ask you about something."
I asked her, she was surprised by my abrupt request but she nodded.
"What was that about war?"
I asked with a bit of tepridition.
"That! The Waris army is going to attack, but you don't have to worry, Adventurers are free people,so even if some other country occupies the town it won't matter to anyone but nobles."
She explained patiently.
"Honestly I would prefer if this town was part of Waris kingdom."
She added with bit of expectations in her tone
"Why is that?"
I asked curiously as it seemed weird me
"Oh, well in terms of discrimination against other races, the kingdom of Rogdo is the worst nation, but waris is a nation that doesn't discriminate against other races ."
She explained in great detail, yes I have known this world had other races other then humans as I read it one of books I borrowed from the guild after Fiona told me about it after incident with my periods so I have read my fair share of books so I do know general geography of the area and political situation but I have no idea about them.
"I see, discrimination huh?"
I mused at that but it seemed it was safe here for now as long as someone isn't noble or somehow related to them after telling me Fiona returned to her duties I decided staying in the guild hall would be boring so I decided to stroll outside for now to see around and decide based on behaviour of general public to confirm my findings with Fiona's words.
But I made sure that I returned before my scheduled examiners arrived,while I was strolling around I noticed many female Adventurers all wearing feminine clothes that looked good on them while I didn't look bad in my blouse and pants it didn't go well with how my current appearance looked, I couldn't help but feel jealous how preety they looked this was one of quirk I have observed in my behaviour I have no attraction towards women atall but I could be jealous of there looks or preety dresses it really drove me insane at first but I decided to accept it, as this is what it is.
But I decided it is already awkward that I have memories as a man but if I have to fall in love with anyone in this world it will most likely be man rather than women so I couldn't really accept that from the bottom of my heart if I have memories as a man because of this contradiction I decided it would be great if I could selectively forget about being man, and edit my memories so that I was already girl even before reincarnation, though it scared me as it would mean I would be different person but it is already true that I am different person from the one I was on the earth and if I could enjoy my life here without any uncomfortable feeling I could do that , I understood why people generally loose there memories after reincarnation, as leaving as other gender could lead to untold amount of mental torture, but regardless I didn't have any way to do that, I would need study mind magic for that and I have no idea were to start that.
After strolling around and musing I finally understood that people in this town arent scared and it would most likely be safe around here but even if nobles army were to lose the worst that can happen is likely an increase in tax that Adventurers have to pay on each quest.
After strolling around 1 and half hours I decided to return to the guild I was a bit excited about my promotion exam, as I entered the guild not many people looked at me for more then 10 seconds when I first arrived would stare at me blankly because of my beauty now people in this town had gotten used to it so they don't stare too much, it made me uncomfortable at first but now I have gotten used to it.
There was still about half an hour before the arrival of my examiners so I decided to eat some lunch in the guild hall it was some scewers and it was tasty.
After I was done eating I approached Fiona's desk as it was afternoon guild hall only had Adventurers that are resting today are in the guild hall and they have no need to stay in the line. So there was no one in front of Fiona's she was just sitting behind her desk.
"Hey! Fiona"
I called her to get her attention as she was just doing some paperwork.
"Evelyn you're here! The examiners I told you about are in the guild training grounds, it hasn't even been 5 minutes since they went there, I will guide you to them."
She said in an excited tone , I was a bit nervous about meeting new high ranked Adventurers, people of battle brigade were very kind to me but that may not be true for other high ranking Adventurers.
While I was thinking about this things we arrived at the training grounds, according to Fiona they were going to the training ground no. 12 which were generally adventurer spar when we reached the training ground I was surprised to see familiar faces in that training grounds.
