Felix slowly opened his eyes and used his hand to shield them from the sunlight streaming through the holes in the roof. He looked around in confusion, realizing this was not his room.
" Wait, this is not my room! Where have my luxurious ceiling and chandelier gone to?" Felix asked himself with bewilderment as he looked at holes th size of a fist on the roof in a daze.
After a few moments, the fog in his mind cleared, and he smiled. "Oh, I forgot, I'm reborn."
Reflecting on his recent experiences, Felix felt like he was in a dream. He had died in a plane explosion and somehow ended up in a different world, inhabiting another person's body. It all seemed incredibly mysterious to him, and he still wasn't quite used to it.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Felix assessed his body. The pain had lessened, but he felt weak. Even lifting his hand was a struggle.
"Well, at least I'm alive. If I'm in this world now, I might as well make the most of it," Felix said with a relaxed smile, accepting his new reality.
"But I need to figure out how to survive in this predicament," Felix thought, narrowing his eyes as he pondered his next steps.
" According to the memories this world is called Sylphendil " Felix thought with intense light gleaming in his eyes.
-------------------------------------------
According to the memories of his predecessor, the world he is currently in is called the Sylphendil World. It's a world with an advanced civilization, filled with diverse lifeforms.
The Sylphendil World is incredibly huge, many times bigger than Earth, with nine continents, each a hundred times larger than Earth. It resembles the medieval age but is more advanced, with many Kingdoms and Empires spread across the entire world.
What makes Felix marvel at the World of Sylphendil is that, apart from humans, there are other races inhabiting this world - orcs, elves, dwarfs, beast-men, demons, dragons, and many more. Due to the differences between races, there are constant wars, especially with the human race, which is not well-liked by many other races.
Humans are seen as inhumanly greedy, always wanting to enslave other races under their rule, but they are not the strongest race in Sylphendil.
The Dragon Race holds that title, living deep in their islands and mountains, not bothering with the world unless provoked.
In the World of Sylphendil, there is a mysterious energy called Mana, present everywhere. People can use Mana to make themselves incredibly strong, able to blast mountains to smithereens or even fly. Living for thousands of years is possible if one can properly harness Mana and become strong.
When harnessing Mana, one doesn't immediately become overpowered. Instead, they must cultivate by absorbing Mana into their body and breaking through certain stages to become strong.
According to the memories of their predecessor, there are two types of Mana Cultivation: Knight Cultivation and Mage Cultivation. While both use Mana, there are differences between them.
In Knight Cultivation, those who follow this path are called Knights. They use Mana from the world to strengthen their bodies, continuously drawing it in to become stronger.
Knights excel in close combat and hand-to-hand combat, using Mana to perform incredible feats like splitting mountains with a single swing of their sword, moving as fast as lightning, and even destroying countries.
Their defense is also incredibly strong. There are nine realms to breakthrough in Knight Cultivation, with each realm making you three, five, or even ten times stronger than before. The Nine Realms in Knight Cultivation are:
Tier 1 Knight : Beginner Knight
Tier 2 Knight : Intermediate Knight
Tier 3 Knight : Master Knight
Tier 4 Knight : High-Level Knight
Tier 5 Knight : Grandmaster Knight
Tier 6 Knight : Epic Knight
Tier 7 Knight : Legendary Knight
Tier 8 Knight : Mythic Knight
Tier 9 Knight ; Forbidden Knight
When it comes to Mage Cultivation, those who follow this path are known as Mages. Unlike Knights, Mages also absorb Mana into their bodies but the way they use Mana is different from Knights.
Instead, they use Mana to cast spells by harnessing the power of the four elements: Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth. In addition to these elements, there are special ones like Ice, Metal, Thunder, Space, and Time.
Mages gather Mana from their surroundings to cast spells. Some Mages need to chant, while others can simply wave their hand to conjure a powerful spell. Since Mages rely solely on Mana for their magic and don't absorb it, their defenses are weak, and they struggle in close combat. However, they excel in long-range attacks.
Becoming a Mage is more challenging than becoming a Knight. Mage Cultivation requires a deep understanding and strong connection to the elements. There are Nine Realms in Mage Cultivation, each with its own level of mastery:
Tier 1 Mage: Beginner Mage
Tier 2 Mage: Intermediate Mage
Tier 3 Mage: Apprentice Mage
Tier 4 Mage: Master Mage
Tier 5 Mage: Grandmaster Mage
Tier 6 Mage: Epic Mage
Tier 7 Mage: Legendary Mage
Tier 8 Mage: Mythic Mage
Tier 9 Mage: Forbidden Mage.
In the world of Sylphendil, Mana is a powerful force that can make you strong, but only if you have the talent to wield it.
Those who can use Mana become stronger over time, while those who can't naturally become weaker, leading to the strong bullying the weak.
It's a tough world out there, where only the fittest survive and being weak means putting your life in the hands of the strong.
Felix was sweating buckets as he absorbed the memories of his predecessor, learning about the harsh realities of the Sylphendil World.
" Fuck..how am I supposed to make it in a world with dragons?" he cursed, his face twisted with worry. He knew he didn't have the strength to protect himself in a world where one wrong move could mean the end.
According to his predecessor's memories, Felix found himself on the Continent of Lunaris, one of the nine massive continents in the Sylphendil World. Despite being the smallest, it was still huge, much larger than Earth.
The Continent of Lunaris was home to countless Kingdoms, Empires, and organizations, with Felix currently residing in the remote city in the Kingdom of Avalonia one of the many Kingdoms in the Continent of Lunaris.
