Felix shot up to his feet, his whole body trembling with shock. His eyes were wide, his mouth gaping open.
Moments later, excitement filled his eyes and a wide grin spread across his face.
" Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
He burst into wild laughter, the sound echoing in the room as he jumped around and waved his hands. He even did Michael Jackson moonwalk dance.
His laughter continue to reverberate across the entire room.
Luckily, the room was soundproof, or Trinity and the others would have thought he had gone mad. Felix continued to dance and jump in excitement for a few minutes before calming down.
Sitting back on the bed, Felix took a deep breath, but his body still trembled with excitement.
"I didn't expect this. I really didn't expect this," he said, his eyes flickering with excitement.
The system had truly surprised him with a huge and priceless reward.
"Don't be so excited by this little rewards, you country bumpkin," the system mocked.
Felix didn't mind this time. "You did good this time, system. Maybe you're not so useless after all," he said with a grin.
"Of course not. Who do you think I am?" the system replied proudly.
Felix shook his head, but he was still shocked by the reward. He looked at what the system had given him: One Mana Awakening Stone, three Tier 2 Mana Cultivation techniques, and five Knight Cultivation techniques. His heart raced as he took it all in.
"With this, I can't be in a passive position anymore!" Felix laughed, his eyes narrowed in excitement.
In the world of Sylphendil, strength is everything. Without it, you could easily be taken out without even realizing how it happened. In this world, Mana is everywhere - it's in the air, in the ground, everywhere. But in order to harness Mana and become a Mana Cultivator, you need to have a Cultivation technique to draw Mana into your body.
In the Sylphendil World,no let's talk about the Avalonia Kingdom. All the resources for Cultivation, like techniques and skills, are controlled by the powerful and authoritative figures - the Aristocratic and Noble Families, the Royal Family, and other super strong individuals.
This makes it really tough for ordinary people to cultivate, since these powerful groups keep all the good stuff to themselves.
And talent plays a big role too. If you don't have enough talent, even if you're given a Cultivation technique, it's pretty much useless.
Becoming a Mage Cultivator is especially tough - only about ten out of a hundred people have the talent for it. That's why Mages are so highly respected compared to Knights.
Mages can also master all kinds of knowledge and are responsible for crafting formations and runes, which is why they're admired and respected more than Knights.
Previously, Felix and the others were just ordinary people living in a world where the strong preyed on the weak.
Even with the system in place, he still have to be cautious. Why? Because if he didn't keep a low profile, he and the others could face severe consequences and put their lives in danger.
But now, with the rewards provided by the system, they were no longer just ordinary people.
As long as they could successfully cultivate these techniques, they had nothing to worry about.
As for talents, Felix smirked, Trinity and the others already have Nine Star talents, their talents can be said to be the best in the Kingdom. With this kind of monstrous talents how can they be mediocre if they cultivate.
Felix couldn't help but grin at the thought, his eyes shining with excitement.
"I can't reveal these cultivation techniques right away, or Trinity and the others will get suspicious," he thought, narrowing his eyes.
Despite his eagerness to start cultivating, he knew he had to be patient and find the right time to introduce the techniques to everyone.
"No rush, let's take it one step at a time," Felix smirked, still buzzing with excitement.
---------------------------
Time flew by, and before they knew it, it was the next day. Felix and the others woke up early, took their baths, and had breakfast. Standing in front of the mansion gate, Felix addressed Trinity, Gwendolyn, and Nixie.
"Trinity, Gwendolyn, Nixie, as we discussed yesterday, head to the Karlaos District and hire people according to the criteria I gave you," Felix instructed.
"Okay," Trinity nodded.
"Take the carriage and go quickly. Once you're done, bring the hired workers to the restaurant," Felix added.
"Alright we'll head out now," Trinity said as they hurried into the carriage and made their way out of the Edel District.
It didn't take long for the carriage to disappear into the distance. Felix turned to face both Zephyr and Brixton.
"You two head to the restaurant and wait for me there," Felix said.
Zephyr and Brixton nodded. "But what about you, big bro?" Brixton asked.
"Don't worry about me. I have something to do. After I'm done, I'll head to the restaurant," Felix waved his hand nonchalantly.
"Ok, big bro. Zephyr, let's go," Brixton nodded as he and Zephyr also took one of the carriages and immediately vanished into the distance.
Felix went back into the mansion, where the children were sitting in the pavilion playing.
The moment Felix entered the pavilion, Una jumped into his arms.
Felix rubbed her head with a smile and gazed at the other children. "Ok, kids, big brother and the others have things to do, so you should stay here and play."
"Costa, you are the eldest. Make sure you take care of the rest, you understand?" Felix turned to Costa and said.
"Yes, big brother!" Costa immediately stood up and said in a loud tone.
Felix nodded. "Ok, kids, Costa is now in charge. Make sure to listen to him, do you guys understand?" He glanced at the children and said.
"Yes, big brother!" All of them responded in unison.
"That's good," Felix nodded and chuckled.
"Umm, big brother, can you take Una with you?" Una, who was in his arms, said with a pout.
"No, Una, you can't come with big brother. Big brother has something important to do," Felix looked at her and said.
"But... but Una will miss big brother," Una said with a sad face.
"Be good, Una. I promise I won't take long. Big brother will come home right after I'm done, okay?" Felix said.
"Okay," Una nodded.
"That's my girl," Felix smiled, pinching her cheeks and making her giggle.
Felix set her down and made his way out of the pavilion. It didn't take long for him to take the last carriage and quickly vanish from the Edel District.
While driving the carriage, Felix gazed ahead but was also engaged in a conversation with the system.
"System, can you make flyers for me?" Felix asked curiously.
"What do you take me for, I am the omnipotent Business Empire System. How can you disrespect me like this?" the system said in displeasure.
"What omnipotent system? You are just a useless system. Just tell me if you can do it or not," Felix rolled his eyes.
"No, I don't make flyers," the system said in a resolute voice.
"100 BEP," Felix suddenly said.
"Ding: Nice doing business with you, host. A thousand flyers have been successfully made," the system notification suddenly rang.
Felix was stunned speechless. "System, I didn't think you would be this shameless."
"Ding: 100 BEP have been deducted," the system notification rang again.
"Damn system, you have no shame at all," Felix was speechless at the system. The system didn't reply but remained quiet. Felix shook his head. "So, where are the flyers?"
"I can give them to you anytime you need them," the system said.
Felix nodded. "I hope the flyers are satisfactory. Otherwise, you can take them back and refund my BEP."
"Don't worry, host. The system's products are of high quality and excellent," the system said with a proud tone.
"It better be. Okay, send the flyers inside the carriage and give one to me," Felix said.
Suddenly, Felix felt something in his pockets. He reached inside and pulled out a piece of folded paper. Unfolding it, Felix looked at the contents of the flyer and felt satisfied. The system was really good at its job.
The flyer was made in a way that wasn't too shocking to this world. It was made to the standard of this world, even the pictures and writing looked like they were done by hand.
Felix was satisfied with the flyer " But system I want you to add..." Felix told the system some of his ideas to add to the flyer.
" Ok host that will cost an additional 50 BEP " the system said.
" System you are too greedy " Felix shook his head, " just take it ".
Felix remove his attention away from the system.
Felix drove the carriage around the streets, he didn't have a specific destination, head just going around the city visiting many places he haven't been there.
And the reason why he is doing this is because of the flyers, when he told Zephyr and Brixton to wait to go ahead and go to the restaurant he was just finding an excuse so that he make the system make the flyers for him.
If he suddenly took out a bunch flyers out of nowhere without much evidence they would be suspicious.
So he just have spend at least two hours or three before heading to the restaurant so when they ask, he will just say he got a painter to do it for him.
Just like that Felix spend close to three hours roaming across the streets of Brigdemoor City.
" Let's head to the restaurant" Felix thought as he quickly made his way to Audaz District.
Half an hour later, Felix reached the restaurant and quickly went to office on the floor. Zephyr and Brixton were already in the office looking quite bored.
" Big bro you are finally here, what took you so long?" Brixton said when he saw Felix entered the office.
" I was busy doing something, sorry about that " Felix chuckled as he put the bunch of flyers he holding on the table.
" So what were you busy with?" Zephyr asked while looking at the flyers.
" This" Felix said as he pointed to the flyers on the table.
" So what's that?" Brixton asked.
Felix smiled as he took one two of the flyet and gave them to Zephyr and Brixton.
Zephyr and Brixton have surprised in their eyes as they looked at the flyer.
" Big to who did this, it's beautiful and we'll thought" Brixton asked.
" Well I found a good painter to do it" Felix chuckled.
" This painter is really talented to be able to paint such vivid images " Brixton praised.
" Of course who do you think I am " the system proud voice echoed in Felix mind.
Felix was quite speechless, he decided not to pay attention to the system.
" Ok this is what I want your guys to do " Felix knocked on the table.
Zephyr and Brixton eagerly awaited Felix to continue speaking. "You see these papers? I want you to distribute them or post them on walls and buildings across the city," Felix explained.
Zephyr and Brixton nodded in understanding. "But big bro, I don't think these will be enough," Zephyr said.
"Don't worry, you just have to post them where the traffic flow is best in the city. I'll provide another batch tomorrow," Felix reassured them.
"Okay," Zephyr nodded. "Then big bro, we are heading off."
Felix nodded in agreement as Zephyr and Brixton grabbed the flyers and quickly left the restaurant.
Taking a deep breath, Felix sat behind the desk, lost in thought.
Time passed by and in a blink of an eye three hours passed by.
" Big bro I'm back!" Suddenly Nixie's voice broke the silence as she entered the office.
"Oh, guys are already done?" Felix stood up from his chair.
" So how was it? Where you able to recruit the required individuals? " Felix asked.
" Yeah although your requirements were too harsh but we were still able to find the right people " Nixie nodded.
" Ok, so where is Trinity and Gwendolyn? " Felix asked.
" Both of them are at the first floor taking care of things " Nixie answered.
" Big bro were is Zephyr and Brixton? " Nixie glanced around.
" I send them on a different job " Felix shook his head," Ok let's head down ".
-----------------------
Both of them quickly made their way down ot the first floor.Meeting with the hired workers, Felix introduce himself and briefed them about the restaurant.
He also instructed them to arrive early the next morning for basic training. So that they can know their duties and responsibilities.
The day flew by quickly, and the following day, Felix and his team arrived at the restaurant to begin training the staff on their assigned tasks and duties. The Chefs familiarized themselves with the menu, which included dishes from Earth.
With a 1 Star Spirit Chef like Chef Gideon leading the training, the Chefs found the process much easier. Upon learning of Chef Gideon's prestigious title, they were shocked and amazed, but quickly became excited at the opportunity to learn from such a skilled professional.
Being trained by a 1 Star Spirit Chef meant that the Chefs had the chance to perfect their craft under Chef Gideon's guidance. Despite their years of experience - some having worked as Chefs for twenty to thirty years - Felix initially had concerns about their expertise.
However, with Chef Gideon's mentorship, he was confident that they would quickly adapt and excel.
As the days passed, the training of the waitstaff and valet staff continued seamlessly. In a blink of an eye three weeks passed by.
In just more than three weeks, the team had made significant progress and were well on their way to becoming a cohesive and efficient unit.
