Gwendolyn was really excited - how could she not be excited when she had such high talent in Mage Cultivation? She even had an affinity to the rare Ice Element.
"Ok guys, it's your turn," Felix smiled and turned to Zephyr, Brixton, and Trinity. Brixton stepped forward and tested, but after a few minutes, there was no reaction from the awakening stone, indicating that Brixton had no talent in Mage Cultivation.
Disappointment filled his eyes, and the others shared in his disappointment. Zephyr also tested, with the same result as Brixton - no reaction from the awakening stone. Trinity tested as well, but again, there was no reaction.
All of them wore disappointed expressions. They had hoped they would have talents in Mage Cultivation, but the reality was different.
"Don't worry, big sis. If you don't have talents in Mage Cultivation, you might have talent in other areas," Nixie said, taking Trinity's hand and offering comfort.
Felix still had a smile on his face. He knew that although Zephyr, Brixton, and Trinity didn't have talents in Mage Cultivation, the three of them had high talent for Knight Cultivation.
"Don't worry, guys. Just as Nixie said, you might not have talent for Mage Cultivation, but who knows, you might have talents in other areas," Felix reassured them.
"That's why I got you this," he said, taking out three finger-length thick books made from unknown materials from a box on the ground. Trinity and the others looked at the books in Felix's hand with curiosity.
"Big bro, is that what I think it is?" Zephyr asked with surprise.
Felix smiled and nodded. "Yes, these are Knight Cultivation techniques." They all gasped in surprise, astonishment evident in their eyes as they looked at Felix in shock.
"Don't give me that look, okay? I bought all of them with awakening stone from the black market," grumbled Felix.
Trinity and the others were left speechless.
" Ok just take them " Felix shared the three books to Trinity, Zephyr and Brixton.
Brixton, Zephyr, and Trinity eagerly took the Cultivation techniques with trembling hands. They knew these techniques were incredibly expensive, but they didn't question how Felix had obtained them. Everyone has their secrets, after all.
"Okay, study it and see if you can Cultivate them," Felix said.
Trinity, Zephyr, and Brixton nodded in agreement. They sat down cross-legged on the ground and delved into the Cultivation techniques. Luckily, the explanations and diagrams provided were easy to understand.
Felix then pulled out another thick book from the box and handed it to Gwendolyn and Nixie. They were surprised to receive Mage Cultivation techniques.
"These are for you two. Study them and cultivate them," Felix instructed.
Gwendolyn and Nixie nodded and joined the others in studying the techniques.
Felix also began studying a Mage Cultivation technique himself.
---------------------
Both Knights and Mages used Mana as their source of energy. They drew Mana into their bodies to harness its power, allowing them to perform incredible feats like flying and launching long-range attacks. However, the way Knights and Mages used Mana differed.
Knights used Mana to strengthen their bodies and gradually increase their power. They could also use Mana to launch long range attacks attacks and had affinities to elements.
But their affinity to the elements and use of the elements is quite different from Mages.
For instance a Knight can launch an attack using a specific element but the knight can only use specific skills for each element in their attacks.
When it comes to Mages, their use of Mana differs from Knights. Mages draw Mana into their bodies and store it just like Knights, but instead of using Mana to strengthen their bodies, they use mysterious incantations called spells to launch attacks.
Mages utilize the surrounding Mana to cast spells. Some may think that Mages have an infinite amount of Mana, but that's not the case. The amount of Mana a Mage can use depends on their strength.
For example, a Tier 1 Beginner Mage can't continuously use surrounding Mana because their mind can't handle it. There's a limit to how much Mana they can use, and the stronger they become, the more Mana they can utilize.
Knights have specific skills to launch attacks, divided into nine tiers from Tier 1 to Tier 9. Mages also use spells to attack, which are also divided into nine tiers from Tier 1 to Tier 9.

Felix was deep in thought as he studied the Mage Cultivation technique. With his high comprehension ability, he quickly grasped the concept.
According to the technique, he had to sense the Mana in the air, draw it into his body, and open his Mana Channels. Mana Channels are like pathways in the body that must be opened before drawing Mana inside.
These channels also act as storage for Mana, but there's a limit to how much they can hold. The body have Nine Mana Channels, as one continue to open the Nine Mana Channels in the body one becomes stronger and stronger.
Both Knights and Mages have these channels. Felix took a deep breath, crossed his legs, and closed his eyes, removing all distracting thoughts from his mind.
To sense Mana, one must have a calm mind and avoid distractions.
By this time, Trinity and the others had grasped the concept of Cultivation techniques. They hurriedly sat cross-legged and closed their eyes.
The training ground fell into deep silence as everyone tried to sense Mana.
When Felix closed his eyes, he cleared his mind of any distractions and focused on sensing Mana.
Twenty minutes later, Felix suddenly felt a mysterious energy around him. It made him feel incredibly comfortable, like he was wrapped in a warm blanket.
Slowly opening his eyes, Felix found himself in a vast, multicolored space with faint starlight flickering around him. He looked around in awe as different types of lights flowed past him.
Some emitted bone-chilling coldness, others a heavy pressure, and some a gentle breeze. Felix realized that these colorful energies were the elements.
Two different colors of energy moved closer to Felix - fiery red emitting intense heat and completely violet emitting crackling sounds like thunder.
Felix recognized these as the elements he had an affinity with: Fire and Lightning. He pondered for a moment before focusing intensely on the fire element and with a thought, it entered his body.
As the fire element entered his body, the multicolored space disappeared. Felix felt a mysterious energy entering his body,he knew that he have successfully sense Mana.
But that wasn't the end of it. When the Mana entered his body, Felix suddenly felt a rush of intense heat coursing through him. His face contorted in pain as he felt like he was being cooked from the inside out.
Fiery red Mana flowed through him, causing his blood to boil and emit strange sounds. It was like he had been thrown into a pot of boiling lava, leaving his face ghostly pale.
"Damn, nobody warned me that sensing Mana could be this excruciating," Felix gritted his teeth. He had never felt pain like this before, and he knew he had to tough it out or risk wasting all his efforts and possibly getting hurt in the process.
As time passed, Felix endured the intense pain, feeling like he was being consumed by flames. If someone looked Felix body right now, they would find out that faint flickering flames surrounding him, although he was surrounded by fames it didn't harm his body but his inside was being cooked.
The ground beneath him bore faint burn marks, and the air around him grew dry as the heat intensified within a ten-meter radius.
Not only Felix was feeling intense pain, but Gwendolyn and Nixie also had pained expressions on their delicate faces. Nixie felt like her whole body was being cut into pieces, with a faint cyan wind swirling around her.
As for Gwendolyn, she felt like her body was being frozen. A prickling sensation coursed through her body, and the surrounding ten meters around her were filled with frost and snowflakes.
Both she and Nixie had pale faces, experiencing the same pain that Felix was feeling at that moment.
This went on for a few minutes, and then suddenly a muffled sound came from within Felix's body, as if something had been forcefully opened. The intense pain he was feeling immediately subsided, followed by a comfortable sensation throughout his body. The flames surrounding him entered his body and gradually disappeared.
Then, two more muffled sounds came from Gwendolyn and Nixie's bodies. The cyan wind circling Nixie entered her body, and the frost and snowflakes around Gwendolyn entered hers. Their expressions of pain slowly subsided, but their faces were still pale.
As Felix slowly opened his eyes, he noticed a slight change in his vision. He could see a faint milky white substance in the air, everywhere around him. He wasn't surprised; he knew this substance was Mana.
He had the feeling that if he willed it, he could draw the Mana flowing around him into his body.
In addition to the Mana, he can also see faint fiery red Mana swirling around him, and he feels a connection to it. He has a feeling that he can manipulate and control this fiery red Mana. He knows that this fiery red Mana is the Fire element that he has an affinity with.
He felt completely different. Although not much had changed in his physique, his mind had undergone some changes.
He felt his brain was more active, his vision had improved, and all his senses had undergone remarkable changes.
"Big brother," a gentle voice sounded behind him.
Startled, Felix turned around to see Gwendolyn and Nixie looking at him, both with joyful expressions. Even Gwendolyn's poker face was filled with joy.
"Big brother, I feel completely different. It seems like my senses have improved," Nixie said with excitement in her eyes.
" Congratulations to both of you! You are now Tier 1 Beginner Mages," Felix chuckled.
Gwendolyn and Nixie squeezed each other's hands in excitement.
They never imagined they would one day become respected and admired Mages. They knew their lives would never be the same.
"What about big sis and the others?" Nixie asked.
Felix snapped back to reality and glanced at Trinity, Zephyr, and Brixton, who were sitting on the ground.
When Felix turned to look at Trinity, Zephyr, and Brixton, his eyes widened in shock.
"What the fuck!"
