ATHENA
Despite all my fighting and struggling, Hector keeps me chained to him until we arrive at our destination. The Golden Gates Resort.
"We're here. Won't you let me go now?" To my absolute horror, he shakes his head.
"What do you mean?!" I gasp. "Surely, we can't go out like this."
In response, Hector pulls his side of the door open and steps out, gently dragging me after him. I stumble out of the car, nearly falling down on my face, but he wraps his arms around my waist to steady me.
I look up and our eyes clash and hold. Despite my anger, heat unfurls in my belly and tendrils of electricity crawl down my spine at his intense stare.
We're snapped back to reality when someone clears her throat behind us. Zara.
"Ahem! Isn't it high time we went into the hotel?"
She hurries towards us and presses herself against Hector's side, smiling like a deranged cat.
"Hector, you and I are in the same room. Right?"
