ATHENA
When Dragomir and I arrive at the Dragon Empire, the company's grounds are already teeming with an absurd number of reporters. My heart literally lurches in my chest as I stare at the sea of mic-wielding, information thirsty people.
"Why are there so many of them?" I ask numbly.
Hunter grabs my fingers in his big, warm ones and smiles at me.
"The more, the better, don't you think? This way, information will travel faster."
I definitely do not agree with that opinion because I hate crowds, but Hunter is already doing so much for me, so I shut the fuck up and take the hand he offers to assist me out of the car.
Once my feet hit the concrete sidewalk, the reporters swarm around us like flies. Even though it's broad daylight, the sharp, blinding lights of the cameras pierce my poor sensitive eyes.
