Alucard looked at Yumi and smiled. "Don't worry, we're good at keeping secrets."
Yumi smiled gently for the first time since their fall. "Oh, we're very good at that..."
Jin took a deep breath, looking at both of them before speaking. "Before you descended the mountain slope, I wanted to take a different path to test my abilities. You could say they're somewhat unique."
"And I know you wouldn't let me have any chance to fight those ugly creatures."
"It might seem stupid to you, but I hold a particular grudge against those creatures, so I wanted to kill them myself, at least..."

Alucard responded, "So you didn't go to commit suicide?"
"Suicide? I told you, why the hell would I want to kill myself?"
