Then they continued their descent, step by step.
The path was incredibly long until they reached one of the tree's branches. They sometimes leaned on their swords to rest before continuing. Finally, they arrived on top of the branch, collapsing onto it, breathing heavily and drenched in sweat.
Alucard and Yumi were panting heavily, while Jin was already throwing up.
They lay on their stomachs, looking ahead at what they thought was the 'sunset.'
"It would be a more beautiful sight if that light source was like the sun," Alucard said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"Ah, I don't know why it's purple, but it looks somewhat pretty," Yumi replied.
"What about you, Jin? What do you think?" Alucard asked.
Jin looked at them with dead eyes, like a corpse. "I thi—" He couldn't finish his sentence before he threw up again.
