"Good grief! I've been waiting for an hour, and I'm at the end of my rope," Chiyo exclaimed. He had asked his younger brother to come pick him up, and his brother had promised to be there, but he was nowhere in sight. Chiyo huffed in irritation and hailed a taxi to take him to the location his brother, Rei, had given him. It took about an hour, but he finally arrived at the apartment and rang the bell. No one answered. He finally called his brother and said, "Where on earth are you? I waited for an hour, then drove for an hour to get to your place, and you're not even here?" Rei replied, "Oh, sorry. I'm actually on my way back." Now Chiyo had to wait another half hour. Rei received an earful over the phone, the volume so high that it caught the attention of those nearby. Alexis let out a laugh and taunted, "Looks like you've neglected your nii-san." in a playful, sing-song manner. Rei shot back, "Shut up. We'll be back in a jiffy." As Rei ascended the stairs, he couldn't help but shudder at the thought of the punishment awaiting him. With closed eyes, he fumbled for the keys, only to be met with a harsh smack to the head. "Ouch!" he cried out. Chiyo scolded, "That's not how you treat your brother." Rei quickly apologized. Alexis then opened the door, welcoming Chiyo inside. "Welcome to your temporary abode, the place you'll be residing for... well, who knows how long?" he teased. Rei questioned, "You never mentioned how long exactly?" Chiyo simply replied, "I haven't decided yet."
Alexis strolled into the office on Monday with so much confidence, you'd swear he just snagged a Grammy. He plopped down at his desk and perused his emails as if he was on the hunt for buried treasure. After all, he was the mastermind behind 79.9% of the 'Legends' game development, so he felt entitled to be the first to trial it. But alas, no response from the company. He glanced at Rei, who gazed at him with hope, thinking Alexis might have a chance. But as he met Alexis's eyes, he knew it was not to be.
