She glanced at Taryn, who was glaring at her, and gave a knowing smile. "Looking poor and weak doesn't make you right. If you keep bothering me, I'll ask the instructor to show the pre-training surveillance video."
Taryn's face went pale. She had only wanted to embarrass Lyra, not expose her own attempt to run away. So, she stayed silent.
Her roommate, however, felt the need to "stand up for justice." "Taryn, don't be afraid, let them show it!"
