With the skill of the Void Feast and healing spells, I am not afraid of injury, let alone consumption.
But that is my own city!
If it is broken, it needs to be repaired!
I didn't fix it myself anyway, but the money would come from my treasury.
I thought the plan was perfect.
Maya felt a little speechless when she heard the master's "Master Plan."
It's funny to think about it; she actually believed that a dragon would have some profound plans just now.
"But Lord True Dragon, the defense over there is very strong..."
Maya said carefully, afraid of offending the black dragon in front of her and being eaten by him.
"What! Are you doubting my strength?" my scarlet eyes were directly before Maya.
"Your subordinates dare not!"
Maya hurriedly knelt on the ground.
From my perspective, I saw very beautiful scenery, which made me feel better.
"I don't want my dependents to question my decision! This is my first and last warning to you! Otherwise, I don't mind adding a meal!" My cold voice reached Maya's ears, making her tremble all over.
"Subordinates dare not!" Maya didn't even dare to raise her head.
Even Winnie and Shea on the side were frightened by my state as they had never heard anything similar from the master.
I looked around and was very satisfied with my performance, knowing the core characteristics, principles, and values of the Drow, especially the female Drow.
Evil - Matriarchal - Lolth-Worship - Deception - Cruelty - Magic - Beauty - Elitism - Etiquette - Combat - Backstabbers.
So, it's better to establish dominance before I would be forced to eat this beauty.
...
There is a fantastic city on the banks of a vast underground river.
This is the Menzoberranzan City of the Drow.
After many years of development, Menzoberranzan City has become very prosperous.
On the 30-meter-high city wall, drow warriors are riding giant spiders, patrolling with weapons in hand from time to time.
A tall tower was erected at the highest point in the city.
Elise, the mistress of the Dark Clan, lives in it.
Elise looked at the city beneath her with satisfaction; it was her city.
This feeling of holding all the power in your hands is very good!
"Plesta, thank you for helping me all these years!" Elise said, looking at the huge creature behind her.
"Elise, I have fulfilled my promise to you. You have become the final winner of this political struggle and the mistress of the Dark Demon Clan, gaining the supreme right!"
Presta's figure slowly stepped forward.
This is an extremely terrifying body.
A giant spider, more terrifying and massive than ordinary giant spiders, walked to Elise's side on eight legs.
At the head of the giant spider grew the upper body of a female drow.
In appearance, it was a hybrid of a female drow and a giant spider.
This is the spider elf unique to the drow. It wasn't Arachne but a Drider.
In drow tradition, the goddess Lolth summons a drow who shows great potential to her pit of the web for testing.
This test assesses loyalty and strength.
The drow who passes the test will be favored by the goddess Lolth.
The loser will be transformed into a spider elf - a hybrid of a drow and a mighty giant spider.
This is also a symbol of the divine power of the goddess Lolth, as only a drow can be transformed into a Drider.
Driders are half-Drow and half-Spider, with the top half being humanoid and the bottom half a spider. They are generally female and considered a "blessing" by Lolth.
Only Goddess Lolth has this ability!
Generally, a spider elf will become extremely crazy after returning to the Material Plane.
They wander alone or lead numerous giant spiders on hunts.
It's rare to see a return to drow society like this because even the drow hates such disgusting, crazy creatures as the spider elves; still, they don't attack Driders, as they are a blessing of Lolth.
You can't be sure if the spider next to you will tear you apart with her claws.
"Presta, I still need you. You know I'm the only one in the whole city who doesn't..."
Just as Elise was about to say something, the sirens in the city suddenly sounded.
Elise looked into the air.
She saw a huge black dragon hovering over the city.
---
I felt very satisfied looking at my city.
The drow elves are really good at arranging.
The cobwebs that can be seen everywhere in those cities actually seem to have such charm.
"Roar!"
Seeing that I had successfully attracted the attention of the people below, I let out a deafening dragon roar.
In the roar, I used the ability Wild Scream.
All of a sudden, tens of thousands of drow elves in the city, including Elise, felt shocked.
The magic power in their bodies seemed to be out of control.
"Drow of Menzoberranzan, your master has returned!" I said loudly in the common language of the mainland.
I made sure the drow throughout the city could hear it.
"Damn it!"
Elise felt like she was going crazy. Why did a black dragon of possibly legendary power appear here?
Her ambition had only just begun!
After I announced my ownership of the city in a high-profile manner, I found that the drow elves below seemed unhappy.
Under the chants of some drow mages, a protective circle like a water bubble wrapped the entire city.
I didn't stop them.
Because this kind of thing requires the magician to maintain the magic circle continuously, which is different from the frost trolls, who need magic crystals to maintain it.
Of course, its defensive power must be stronger than that of the frost trolls.
But for me, the weakness of this defensive circle is too obvious.
Just interrupt the casting state of those magicians.
It's too easy for me; a wild scream can solve it.
At that moment, a giant bat flew toward me. This kind of giant bat was just an ordinary ferocious species with no magic power in its body. It was a mount in the sky, domesticated by the drow elves.
A young female drow rode on the back of the giant bat.
It stopped more than 30 meters away from me.
The female Drow bowed her head.
"Honorable Lord Black Dragon, welcome to Menzoberranzan City. Our mistress Elise greets you!"
The young female drow was obviously very nervous.
The giant bat under her was trembling all over. If the female drow hadn't used her magic power to appease this creature, it wouldn't have dared to fly in front of me.
"Why didn't she come herself?" I exhaled a puff of hot air from my nose.
I looked toward the city below, trying to find Mistress Elise.
"The mistress has some things to deal with, so she couldn't come to greet you!"
"This is a gift from the mistress!" The female drow took out a magical tool, a necklace.
"There are 5,000 gold coins, 10,000 silver coins, and various precious jewels worth more than 20,000 gold coins!"
Ha ha!
How the hell do you think of yourself as an autumn wind?
"Sincerity is nice, but I have a better idea—if I get this city, then I will gain countless times more wealth than this!"
As soon as I finished speaking, I released my dragon might with all my strength.
Under the powerful Dragon Might, the giant bat in front of me was impacted first.
The giant bat lost control instantly, and its massive body fell downward.
The female drow leaped from the giant bat.
The giant bat's body hit the protective magic circle, screamed, and was burned to ashes by the magic circle in seconds.
I looked at the giant bat's miserable state. With this kind of power, I felt that I should be able to enter even if I fought hard, right?

"Damn black dragon! I always knew Chromatic dragons were greedy, but to think he'd come after us like this!" Mistress Elise hissed, glaring up at the ominous shadow soaring through the sky, her frustration boiling beneath her cold composure.
She had already sacrificed more than enough—gold coins, treasures, and endless political maneuvering to secure her position as Mistress of her city. Before the coup, she'd spent vast fortunes and brokered dangerous alliances to crush the rival families that dared oppose her. And now, just as she thought she could consolidate her power, this black-scaled monstrosity arrived to throw everything into chaos.
Her ambitions reached far beyond this single city. Elise's dream was to rule all Ten Cities, to become the first queen in Drow history to unify them under one reign. But how could she achieve that when dragons like this one had their eyes on her hard-won gains?
She clenched her fists, steeling herself.
"All warriors, prepare yourselves! Today, we slay the dragon!" Her voice echoed across the chambers as she gathered her forces. There was no other way—diplomacy with dragons was futile. This beast had made his intentions clear, and now war was inevitable.
And it's just a black dragon that hasn't even reached legendary rank, Elise thought, calming her nerves. Though Chromatic dragons were formidable, this one was still young, reckless perhaps, and could be defeated.
She looked over her warriors, each of them seasoned in combat and magic. As seventh-order beings, they represented the pinnacle of drow power, each a master of their own deadly professions. Many of her soldiers had lived centuries, their strength only growing with time. Some of the oldest among them were even 13th-level warriors, including Elise herself.
With their long lives, it's easier to level up their professions without fully focusing on it, which is unlike humans.
Victory wasn't impossible, but she knew this would be a defining moment. If they could kill this dragon, it would solidify her reign and bring her one step closer to ruling the Ten Cities. But if they failed, everything she had built would crumble.
Her eyes narrowed, determination flaring within. The dragon had picked the wrong enemy.
"Elise, I will go back to the wilderness after helping you repel the black dragon this time!" the spider elf Plesta looked at Elise and said.
Elise looked at Plesta in front of her. If she hadn't shown some kindness to Plesta at the right time, then Plesta wouldn't have taken the initiative to swear loyalty, and she would not have been able to control a spider drow.
She really didn't want to lose this helper. But the situation at hand...
"Plesta, you are free after this battle!" Elise said seriously.
The spider elf looked at Elise and walked outside.
Elise was also ready to fight.
One must know that to become a mistress, one must not only have means but also possess strong power. Generally speaking, the mistress is the strongest in a drow family.
And Elise is not only the strongest of the Dark Demon Clan but also the Priestess of Lolth for the Dark Demon Clan.
The Priestess of Lolth is an extension of the will of the Spider Queen, Lolth. Elise has undergone countless training sessions since she was born and is destined to become the Priestess of Lolth.
She owes her allegiance to her family and the goddess Lolth simultaneously.
But her position as a priestess is very awkward, and only she knows that Goddess Lolth has never given her any response.
The drow warriors and mages stood at the ready, awaiting Mistress Elise's command. Though fear gripped them at the sight of the dragon, a twisted thrill surged through the ranks. Dragon Slayer! The thought alone sparked excitement. Some began rolling out massive defensive crossbows, while others armed themselves with spears and enchanted bolts, preparing for the onslaught.
Above them, the black dragon circled, its gleaming eyes sweeping over the city like a predator toying with its prey.
I hovered higher, watching them scurry beneath me like ants.
"ROAR!" {Wild Scream}
My bellow shook the very air, a blast of pure, primal power. The ground trembled, and the drow mages, who were desperately maintaining the city's protective barrier, felt the flow of magic in their veins grind to a halt. Their spellcasting stuttered—panic flickered in their eyes as the protective circle flickered, then rippled under the strain.
Mistress Elise, standing at the forefront, felt her own power wane. She gritted her teeth. She had assumed it was nerves. Now, it was clear—the dragon's roar was more than a sound; it was some kind of anti-magic weapon.
Now it seems that this was not the reason at all.
{Fifth Tier: Blast Bomb…!}
I unleashed my attack with deadly precision. Seventeen or eighteen massive fireballs, burning bright like miniature suns, cascaded from the heavens toward the city. The already weakening shield shattered upon impact, dissolving into nothing.
"BOOM!"
The first blast hit, followed by a chorus of violent explosions. The drow warriors, mounted on giant lizards and spiders, were incinerated where they stood. Flesh and bone vaporized in a split second, leaving nothing but charred craters and a sickening rain of blood and entrails. Screams filled the air—high-pitched wails of men and women alike, their agony rising as the fire consumed them.
All of a sudden, there was a rain of blood.
I continued to rain down hellfire, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM—the ground quaked with every impact. Drow warriors disintegrated in waves, their bodies torn apart by the relentless force. Some warriors, their faces twisted in horror, tried to mount a desperate defense.
And I kept releasing blast bombs one after another. After the explosive bombs killed some drow elves, I slowly felt the mana drain in my body.
Although not much, with the support of my strong mana pool, it was fierce.
I could use a small percentage of my magic power to release two blast bombs or even fewer explosive bombs to kill more drow.
Then, as my magic power continued to regenerate, I released another explosive bomb.
'It's just so cool!'
I muttered to myself, amused by their futile attempts to bring me down.
Below, the city was drenched in gore. The streets flowed with rivers of boiling blood, dismembered limbs, and mangled corpses. The smell of burnt flesh and molten armor filled the air, thick and suffocating. The bodies of drow warriors lay scattered, some still twitching in their final moments, others reduced to nothing but red mist and bone fragments.
I felt the familiar pull of mana as I prepared another spell. Although my mana was draining, the sheer destruction was intoxicating. 'It's like playing a game in infinite firepower mode…' I thought, grinning as I sent another volley of explosive blasts toward the terrified drow.
