****

The creature order has broken through from  ninth order to tenth order, and the mage level, which was already on the verge of breaking through, has also quietly advanced while sleeping.

The body length increased by almost 1.6 meters.

But what I valued most was the four spell-like abilities awakened from this stage of slumber.

Darkwave Surge, Corrupted and Rot field, Levitation, Cloud and Mist.

Among them, I can actually use the Darkwave Surge and Levitation skills before awakening. Another name for the Darkwave Surge is "Dragon Might", it's only available for black dragon unless it's cast in from of a spell, and the form of Levitating is that it can support the heavy and huge dragon body to float in the air without using dragon wings.

However, before awakening, the use of Dragon Might and Levitation was only based on instinct, which was very superficial. But now after awakening, I have completely mastered these two magic abilities and that's why Dragon might even level up twice.

Lastly, the new skill. The unknown weapon I was gifted by from the depths of a dungeon had properties linked to armor penetration, and the Feast had woven this trait seamlessly into my essence. Now, with a mere swipe of my claw, I could rend the stone walls beside me as effortlessly as cutting through soft butter.

Before the Feast, carving through solid rock had been a challenge, but now it felt almost trivial—like it offered no resistance at all.

This new enhancement to my abilities was long overdue, especially considering that both my bite and claw skills had been stagnating at Level 9 for ages. But now, they had ascended to Level 10, with an additional +0.1 stat boost, making them more lethal than ever before. It was a significant upgrade to my power, turning me into an even deadlier force to be reckoned with.

The majestic black dragon slowly floated into the air, flew out of the deep pit where it was eaten, and returned to the ground of the dragon's nest in the blink of an eye. Then it broke through the water pool and came into the air.

"The awakened Levitation technique is more flexible to use and can be applied faster." I commented.

In addition, ordinary forbidden air spells will also be ineffective against me.

As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I unleashed the spell-like ability *Darkwave Surge.* A terrifying wave of dark energy, steeped in biological pressure, radiated out from my majestic form, sweeping across the land with unstoppable force. The surge expanded rapidly, covering more than ten kilometers in a matter of seconds, rippling outward like the shockwave of a devastating storm.

The ground trembled under its weight, small trees were uprooted and flung aside like broken toys, and others simply crumpled beneath the crushing pressure. In the nearby pens and sheds, the animals, sensing the immense force, cowered in fear, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. Some fainted from sheer terror, and if they hadn't been so far from the epicenter, many would have perished under the immense power.

Sensing my overwhelming presence, the five monster clans immediately fell to their knees, bowing in reverence to their master. Among them stood Danylan, her head bowed with a deep and respectful expression as she gazed toward my home. With my blood flowing in their veins, they possessed a natural resistance to the full brunt of the dragon's might. Though they felt the magnitude of my power, it did not harm them—rather, it deepened their awe and reverence.

I hovered in mid-air, as I quickly activated Dragons Might, my body radiating the full force of my dragon's might. The very earth beneath me trembled, and even the oldest, most robust trees swayed violently under the force, creaking ominously. The sight brought a sense of satisfaction to my heart.

"The range of my dragon's might has expanded considerably," I mused, "and I can control it with precision, retracting and releasing it at will."

For a young dragon, this power was already a strategic weapon. In times of war, factions would seek out true dragons—whether chromatic or metallic, depending on their allegiances—to unleash this fearsome might on the battlefield. Entire armies could be weakened, their will to fight shattered in the face of such raw, overwhelming power. Without a dragon of their own to counteract this presence, most armies stood little chance of victory.

Dragon's might wasn't just for crushing lesser creatures. It could also sap the strength of enemies close to my own level, weakening them and turning the tide of battle in my favor.

Darkwave Surge, combined with the force of my dragon's might, was a fearsome weapon, not much weaker than even my dragon breath. The synergy between the two was like the perfect final touch, a deadly combination capable of overwhelming almost any foe.

Satisfied with the results, and After understanding the effects of Darkwave Surge and Levitation, I focused on the other two awakened spell-like abilities.

Cloud and Mist

Effect: Upon activation, a thick veil of clouds and mist envelops the dragon's body, obscuring its presence and disrupting enemy perception. This shroud interferes with both physical and mental senses, making it difficult for enemies to detect or target the dragon.

As soon as I thought, a large amount of thick white mist like white clouds instantly surged out around the dragon's body. In an instant, the white mist covered several miles.

This range can be larger, as long as I'm willing to consume more magic power.

As a true water dragon, the black dragon is as comfortable as a fish in water as it shuttles through the clouds and mist created by its own water-based magic power. I saw my huge dragon body passing through it, but no movement was heard at all. It can be said that it is extremely hidden.

If the enemy is shrouded in cloud and mist , his eyesight will basically be darkened, but I can clearly perceive the enemy's actions in the cloud and mist technique.

One light and one dark, home field advantage, fighting in the cloud and mist spell, the threat ability of any black dragon will be greatly improved, turning into an extremely terrifying hunter.

After the experiment, I released the cloud and mist spell, and the dragon body landed at the edge of the pool.

As time passed by, the water pool near the side of my dragon body began to become turbid, and the land where I landed gradually showed signs of decay.

This is the domain of the black dragon - the realm of corruption and rot.

Other dragons will also awaken their respective domain fields one after another after reaching their youth, such as the red dragon's burning field and the blue dragon's thunder field.

Domains are always opened passively, but they can be opened and closed actively in an active state the effects of domain increases drastically.

The passively opened corruption field will slowly corrupt soil, water sources, etc. into smelly black water, eventually forming a swamp environment.

The automatically opened Rot Domain will automatically erode all existence within the domain. If a life form with a huge difference in strength falls into the Rot field that the black dragon actively opens, it will be corrupted and rot away into a puddle of black water amidst the wails.

"Swamp Environment." I recalled the rotten swamp dragon nest where I was born, shook my head, and took the initiative to close the rot field.

Although the black dragon's instinct makes me not hate the swamp environment, in terms of senses, I actually don't like the smelly and dirty living environment. Living in that kind of place will make me feel like a beast.

If it weren't for the current conditions, I wouldn't even want to live in the simple water pool dragon's nest. I would rather live in a gorgeous palace.

"I haven't been active for a long time. Now my strength has greatly increased. It's time to see the blood and stretch my body."

I recalled the powerful creatures discovered by my monster clans in the dark forest over the past few years, and showed a ferocious smile.

I don't know if it was influenced by the feast, or just because the dragon body became more and more powerful and it became difficult to control the desires in my heart. I was very interested in violent fighting.

Under such circumstances, my ability to endure several years of growth without going out to fight has already made me feel itchy.

If I didn't vent my lust, I would feel unhappy in my heart.

After this thought arose, I did not hesitate at all, vibrating my dragon wings, turning into a black light and disappearing into the sky.

The direction of flight is west.

It is also the area where Skye and the others have discovered the most powerful creatures. These powerful creatures are like thorns and nails rooted in the earth, forcing the forces of the five monster clans to get out of the way. This not only greatly affects the hunting efficiency, but also causes the death of many monster warriors.

The powerful creatures here refer to advanced creatures. And even the white-feathered owl-tailed female crane is helpless.

Of course, this does not mean that these advanced creatures are stronger than the white-feathered owl-tailed crane. Rather, some advanced creatures are in an environment that prevents the mother crane from taking advantage of its speed and flexibility. There are also some advanced creatures that have spell-like abilities that restrain the mother crane, or simply have super strong escape abilities.

As long as the difference in strength is not big enough to crush or restrain the opponent, it is actually very difficult for more powerful creatures such as high-order monsters and above to die unexpectedly.

In the sky, I, who had applied the invisibility spell, was flying quickly, and his destination was clear.

A moment later, a forest of giant trees with unusually huge trees came into view.

This is also the dividing line between the outer and inner areas of the dark forest.

On the outskirts of the dark forest, the trees are generally only ten or twenty meters high, but in the inner part of the dark forest, the height of the trees begins to increase dramatically. The trees here are generally forty or fifty meters high, and the tree canopy covers hundreds of miles. Huge trees can be seen from time to time. At a glance, there is a vast and ancient atmosphere.

Such a prosperous vast forest also supports countless creatures to live here. This has also led to many powerful creatures choosing to occupy an area here as their own territory. After all, there are a lot of prey here, which can supply big guys like them.

After continuing to fly for about ten kilometers, my speed dropped sharply and finally stopped above a cliff hundreds of meters high.

This is the place. No cliffs around here match these heights,' I mused, my sharp eyes scanning the landscape from high in the air.

It wasn't long before my keen senses rewarded me. Beneath the sprawling canopy of a towering 100-meter tree, I found my quarry. There, standing beneath its immense shadow, was a mammoth unlike any I had ever seen-its dark crimson fur bristling with power.

But this was no ordinary mammoth. This behemoth stood nearly twenty meters tall, its massive trunk stretching over ten meters in length, and its dark, menacing tusks-sharp and gleaming-looked ready to tear through the sky itself.

Advanced Creature: Scarlet Mastodon- an apex predator in its own right, its bloodline putting it just a hair beneath the White Feathered Owl-tailed Crane. Judging by its size alone, I could tell this beast had matured into a full-grown monster, a towering juggernaut of destruction, an Eleventh Order High monster.

I grinned, savoring the impending confrontation as I launched into a steep dive, my wings beating the air with a thunderous roar. Below, the giant elephant's ears twitched. Startled, it raised its massive head but could see nothing in the skies above. Itits intelligence is no weaker than that of ordinary humans. Of course, it cannot be fooled like this; creature realized I was cloaked in invisibility.

However,

Moo~!

Its thunderous bellow reverberated through the forest as its thick, crimson fur suddenly hardened like armor. Muscles bulged grotesquely beneath its skin, tightening in readiness for combat. A moment later, it locked itself into a defensive stance.

Perfect. This was exactly what I wanted. An adversary worth fighting.

Wasn't the reason why I found this big man as my hunting target just because I was thinking about this scene? After all, if I wanted I could have just spammed Heast Breaths untill it was dead?

I crashed down upon it like a meteor falling from the heavens. My spell of invisibility shattered, revealing my true form: a jet-black dragon with scales edged in gold and rippling with raw power, my body a monument to brutal strength.

Chi~!

With a bone-shaking impact, my talons dug into the elephant's mighty tusks, halting its charge. My dragon's head lowered, and I thrust my sharp, brown horns toward its massive eyes, gleaming like molten gold in the depths of its dark face. But the scarlet mastodon was quick, far quicker than one would expect from such a colossal beast. Its trunk-thick and coiled like an iron serpent-wrapped itself around my horns with terrifying force, halting my attack mid-thrust.

"A worthy foe indeed," I snarled with glee, my feral grin stretching wide across my snout. The beast's resistance only excited me further. Without hesitation, I unleashed the acidic dragon breath I had been holding back, sending a torrent of venomous energy hurtling toward the beast's head.

It roared in agony as my acidic breath bathed its face, melting through the hardened crimson fur and thick skin. It's dark red hair as hard as fine steel and its steel skin, eating away flesh and muscle by the tons. Chunks of rotting, stinking flesh fell from its massive frame, the stench of decay filling the air.

Moo~!!

Its enraged bellow tore through the forest as it fought harder, thrashing wildly in a desperate attempt to break free. Yet even with its immense strength, it was no match for the pure power I now wielded. My muscles rippled with the force of my draconic lineage, enhanced by magic beyond beast's comprehension.

{Second Tier: Return to Nature-Water Element Strengthening!}

With a flash of blue light, my body surged with new strength, the water element imbued into my very being. I felt a surge of overwhelming power, and with a ferocious roar, I toppled the massive mastodon, sending it crashing to the ground in a colossal quake that shook the earth. The sheer impact created a crater over ten meters deep beneath its bulk.

Laughing wildly, I tore into the fallen giant with my fangs, ripping through flesh and bone as though they were nothing more than soft clay. Every bite filled my maw with tons of savory, blood-rich meat, my stomach working like a furnace to incinerate and absorb the energy of the Scarlet Mastodon. Magic flowed into me with every gulp, and I could feel my strength soaring to new heights. The exhilaration was intoxicating.

The beast roared and writhed beneath me, but its struggles grew weaker as I consumed more and more of it. Its skull finally gave way to my relentless onslaught, its brain sucked dry by my hunger-fueled frenzy.

In less than a minute, the great Scarlet Mastodon was dead-it's once-majestic form reduced to a mere husk of flesh and bone beneath my claws. The satisfaction of devouring such a powerful foe alive left me grinning in triumph.
