"What are you doing here?" Sabrina asked Alex with a scowl.
The smile on Hunter's face when he saw her faltered, "Bree, do you know Alex?" He asked and then turned to Alex.
"Have you met my sister?"
Alex looked from Sabrina back to Hunter, "We…"
Sabrina turned to Hunter, her voice steady but laced with tension. "Hunter, could you give us a moment alone? I need to have a word with Mr. Alex here."
Hunter's brows knitted in confusion while Alex's lips twitched with a smile. "Do you know him? What's going on, Bree?"
"Please, Hunter. Just a moment," she insisted, her gaze unwavering.
After a moment of hesitation, Hunter nodded before rising. "Alright, but I will be standing right outside the door."
