Sabrina giggled as she watched Delilah zoom off, and Hunter walked back to her, his scowl deepening. "What? She left you?"
"Thanks, Bree. You've been so helpful," Hunter replied sarcastically, his frustration evident.
"You should be thanking me instead of being mad," Sabrina said, her tone light and teasing.
"Thanking you? You pissed her off really well. What did you do all of that for?" Hunter asked, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.
Sabrina rolled her eyes dramatically. "Since when did you become so dense, sweetie? I was obviously trying to get a rise out of her. Don't you see she's jealous? She reacted that way because she was jealous and trying to mark her territory."
"Jealous? I don't think so. I think she's upset because now she thinks I'm a liar and a scumbag," Hunter said, his voice heavy with concern.
