Xin Lei's delicate frame shuddered, and she froze on the spot.
"What's happened?"
She didn't know why Wu Xiaoshan suddenly told her not to move and asked anxiously.
Wu Xiaoshan's eyes were fixed on her feet, where a grey head with a pair of crafty little eyes was sniffing around Xin Lei's foot nonstop, clearly a rather large mouse.
Seeing Wu Xiaoshan not responding, Xin Lei couldn't help but turn around and scold, "Are you joking with me for no reason?"
Wu Xiaoshan now became anxious as the mouse on the ground suddenly realized that Xin Lei's foot was moving and was startled, its mouth wide open as its two front teeth gnawed towards Xin Lei's foot.
"Watch out!"
In a flash, Wu Xiaoshan didn't dare to hesitate any longer and quickly raised his leg and kicked out at the mouse.
With that kick, Wu Xiaoshan could have knocked a grown man to the ground, let alone a mouse, which was sent flying by his foot.
Only then did Xin Lei belatedly scream, "What bit me?"
