Everyone stared at Jill. To everyone, Yel was the strongest here, dealing massive amounts of damage to everything, as he had shown in the duel and the boss fight.
He had dealt about 30k damage to the boss in seconds before he was blasted away.
However, Jill dealt 50k damage in a single hit.
"Don't look at me like that," Jill was embarrassed. "It's only the environmental conditions."
"It's just because it's really dark here and I have an elemental advantage due to my class and my talent."
"The overflowing dark energies in the air are all subject to my usage. Yel's already super strong without an advantage, so in windy conditions, he'll be stronger."
Jill explained to the group.
Yel understood now. Jill was an Acquaintance of the dark element; she could manipulate the rich dark particles in the cave and deliver deadly attacks with the help of Spirit Energy.
"Why didn't you say this at the start!" Lee laughed. "Jill can be the main DPS for this dungeon."
"Let's look at the drops!" Yel said enthusiastically.
The boss gave heaps of experience, especially for the low levels. Jin, Yin, Yang, and Wu all reached above Lv10 and can all head back to Sura for a class advancement after the dungeon.
"Who has the highest luck?" Yel asked. "Wait, we don't need luck, I forgot."
"Lee, what do you think the boss will have?"
Lee thought about it, "The boss was taking perfect damage, I don't think our damage would hit so perfectly, so that might be a skill. Other than that, I don't think it was holding or wearing anything. Might drop a hide or two."
Lee went and moved aside the corpse. Just as he expected, a glimmering book sat on the ground. Also as Lee expected, there was no equipment.
"What the!" Lee exclaimed.
-Lee: [Perfect Rounding]: Passive ability. All damage taken is rounded down to 1 significant figure.
"Aha, I knew I could hit some damage," Rin said. "The stupid skill made me deal zero damage." She pouted.
"That's overpowered!" Yel exclaimed. "That means if I hit 19999, you only take 10k damage!"
"Can I have it?" Lee asked.
"Sure, it's best for a tank," Yel shrugged.
Lee learnt the skill and admired the skill. "Let's keep pushing." He said.
"Change of plans," Yel said. "Lee roars as usual, but the main damager is Jill, everyone can just chill for a bit."
"Jill, are you good with this?"
Jill nodded, "Doesn't take much energy, I can get it back from the environment anyways."
So they pushed very fast into the final boss room.
[Queen Spider]
Lv: 25
HP: ???
MP:???
Description: The wife spider of the King you killed earlier. (She is a bit mad!)
"So it's the King's wife, nice," Yel said
"Just the same thing," Yel said. "Lee roar, Tairi debuff and shield Lee just in case, Hika buff Jill, Jill go slash slash boss die."
"Blah blah blah," Yin said.
"So boring," Yang added.
Yel shot them a look. If eye contact can kill, they would have died. "Can you shuddup!"
Roar!
The queen turned towards Lee and spat out some yucky things. It looked like a pile of poisonous poop.
Tairitsu chanted shortly and sent out a wave of water that wrapped itself around Lee: basic mage skill, [Water Shield].
She then shot an arrow towards the spider. It didn't do damage, but it gave the queen a lot of debuffs.
[Butterfly's Hex Lv1]: Decrease the target's armour and STR by 20%.
[Frostbite Lv1]: Slows down target by 26%
[Wounding Lv1]: Increase damage dealt to the target by 17%
Hikari's buffs then landed on Jill, who was beginning to fade away.
[Blessed Light Lv1]: Increase damage by 13%
[Shadowfury Lv1]: Increase attack speed by 13%
Jill nodded. With these debuffs and buffs, she could easily win against the queen spider. She faded out of sight.
It was then Yel's turn, he needed to damage the spider to lift its attention away from Jill, so she could give the fatal blow.
Slice, slice, slice. Yel appeared behind the boss and sliced. This time he had direct contact.
-6930
-5920
-6129
High damage numbers floated from the spider.
-4028
Yel scrunched his eyebrows, "Yin what are you doing, get back to the backlines!"
"Don't worry about me, I need to get close to utilise my talent to its full potential," he answered.
Then, two arrows struck the boss. One hit the eye and one hit the body.
Tairitsu looked at Wu, "How can you hit so accurately?"
"Hehe," Wu smiled.
Wu's arrow dealt damage, but Tairitsu's arrow gave a debuff.
They kept shooting. Every single arrow Wu shot hit the spider's eye and every single arrow Tairitsu fired carried a debuff.
-354, -ATK
-412, -DEF
-334, Stun
-304, Burn
-387, Fear
-297, -AGI
-356, -STR
-397, -STA
Yel was confused. He looked at the party window and saw Tairitsu's mana bar remain full and unchanged, except for the use of Butterfly's Hex.
Yel guessed it would be something to do with her talent.
The spider gave a hiss and roared. It went back to its nest and roared louder. Spider eggs started falling from the ceiling.
[Status: Fear inflicted]
Everyone's body became uncontrollable and unable to attack for an instant.
Then, a faint glow emitted from Hikari.
[Status: Fear cured]
Hikari smiled, "My talent, we are debuff free hehe."
Yel turned back to the spider eggs. "Dammit, it summons elite monsters."
[Guard Spider]
Lv: 25
HP: 10000/10000 (100%)
MP: 20/20 (100%)
Description: Elite monsters serving the Spider Queen.
Like hungry ants over a pile of food, they piled up towards Lee. They broke through Lee's earth barriers and just as they were about to attack directly at Lee's shield, Yang finally made his first contribution.
A blazing shield of fire surrounded Lee and burnt away the spiders. The fire spread quickly and engulfed every elite guard there was.
It didn't kill them, but it raised panic and knocked them away from Lee.
"Aha, wind boosts the flame," Yel yelled. "Wind Slash!"
Yel mastered up a blast of wind energy and slashed forward. The wind spread the flame and it engulfed a larger area. It also provided fresh oxygen for combustion to occur.
Jill's face was lit up by the flames as she appeared behind the miserable spider queen.
