Chapter 23 - Schrödinger, home to 5 Acquaintances

Erwin Schrödinger was one of the fundamental scientists of physics in Yel's previous world. Yel named his party Schrödinger to one, to remember his past and two, to suggest his importance in this world, with his power of physics.

"Now we are all set, Yel, here's the bounty money and the gear you got," Lee said. "From the Horangi Guard, remember?"

Lee handed him some gold and a piece of hide armour.

[Butterfly's Flight (Hide)]: DEF +15, MDEF +5, AGI +5, HP +500. Requirement: Blade, Archer, Assassin.

Yel nodded and equipped the new armour. "Acquaintance of the Wind" was a hidden class under Blade. It was good beginner armour. "Unless I'm mistaken, Shouldn't there be a skill book?" Yel asked.

Lee nodded, "There was only one, so I wasn't so sure how to distribute it."

He took out the skill book and sent the details in the party chat.

-Lee: [Butterfly's Hex]: Summon the power of the butterflies and decrease the target's armour by 20% and STR by 20%. Requirement: Support, Lv10.

"Ermm," Yel winced. "This Sir Raspey guy…"

"I know right," Jill said. "None of us original 4 is a support."

Yel looked towards the only 2 supports of the party.

Tairitsu raised her hand, "Can I have it, I'm planning on playing the debuffer paths and Hikari is playing the buffer paths."

"Sure," Lee said, handing the skill book to Tairitsu.

"Sweet," Yel said. "Let's start levelling and getting to know each others' roles in the party."

"So far, I know we have a tank, Lee, 4 DPS, Jill, Wu, Yin, and I, 2 supports, Tairi and Hika." Yel analysed. "What about the rest of you?"

"I'm a mage," Yang said. "But I have no skills yet and just a very useless talent."

"I'm also a mage!" Rin said with glittering eyes. "I can stand behind Lee and throw fireballs!"

Jin, who finally arrived a while ago, said, "I'm not sure yet, but I think I will play a mage."

"So many mages!" Yel exclaimed. "One tank, 7 DPS, and 2 supports!"

"No healer!" Lee was shocked too.

Yel pondered, "At early stages, we wouldn't need a healer, but as we progress into mid to late game, we definitely need a healer."

Yel opened the level leaderboard, from Lv10 onwards, the leaderboard will show the general class players are in. Hidden classes are all subclasses to a general class.

For example, on the leaderboard, it says: 1. Yel Lv15 (Blade)

Yel looked through the leaderboard to try to find familiar names. "Bingo!" Yel said.

XianWang Lv11 (Priest)

"It looks like Jian is a healer!" He announced.

Hikari wrinkled his nose, "Jian?"

Hikari didn't like Jian. She was one of his greatest competitors in school.

Yel messaged Jian.

-Fan: Jian, do you want to join my party?

-XianWang: I'm with Dao right now. He needs my heals. We'll go to you guys soon.

-Fan: k

"Jian's with Dao," Yel said. "We'll have to deal with no heals and see how it goes."

"Lee, Jill, and I will be the main carriers for now," Yel started. "But wait, how many of us here have advanced into hidden classes."

"Hika and I," Tairitsu said. "I assume we passed similar quests."

She grabbed into the air and a bow appeared. Spirit Energy. Yel noticed.

Hikari did the same, but it was a staff.

Yel smiled, "Great, so we have 5 Acquaintances in one party!"

He turned to Lee, "Where should we go to farm?"

"Hmmm…" Lee thought about it. "I'm not sure, but the best would be to find a dungeon somewhere and grind it for experience and gear. That'll be the most rewarding."

"I'm not sure where. Awaken II completely introduced a new world map, so I can't use old dungeon locations in Awaken I, but we can always start with those."

"Let's go then," Yel sighed. "It will take us some time to find a decent dungeon."
