Once again falling onto the grass, Durin lifted his head to gaze at the massive tree before him.
He had to admit that the World Tree, capital of the Grassland Elves, was much smaller in comparison.
Returning to the lakeside, Durin looked into the water, where his aged reflection stared back at him.
But he seemed a bit younger, perhaps due to a change in mindset.
Having lived in this strange world for so long and having lived through life once more, gaining a beloved, it's natural for one's mindset to grow younger as well.
Yet Durin was still Durin.

A sapling emerged before Durin, growing instantly, branches sprawling.
