Eren and Annie, two formidable opponents, stood face to face, the tension between them palpable as they prepared to resume their unfinished battle.

The air around them seemed to crackle with anticipation. Eren's muscles tensed as he launched forward, Levi's words echoing in his mind: "Let's see who's faster, Eren. You, me, or her hardening..."

Levi's challenge hung in the air as he moved in sync with Eren, both advancing on Annie with predatory precision. "I'll go low, you go high, then switch... Got it?" Levi whispered, his gaze locked onto Annie's every move as he unsheathed his blades, the metallic sound sharp against the tense silence.

Without a moment's hesitation, Levi fired his hooks into the base of a nearby building, propelling himself to a lower angle. Annie's cold Crimson eyes followed Levi for a brief second—just long enough for Eren to close the distance above her.

He was a blur, moving with feral intensity, forcing Annie to react. She swung her fist with brutal force, her punch aiming straight for him. But Eren, agile as ever, slipped past her strike, using her overextension to his advantage.

Annie's momentary focus on Eren created the opening Levi needed. With expert precision, he darted in low and fast, targeting the vulnerable spots on her unarmored body.

His blades flashed in the fading light as they slashed across her exposed biceps however the attack went useless, her skin hardened in a wink, blade fragments splattered onto the ground as her gaze darted at the duo their sapphire and emerald eyes radiating deadly aura.

The coordination between Eren and Levi was relentless, their movements seamless, each one complementing the other's strikes as they aimed to wear Annie down. "If we can't take her down. It doesn't matter she'll run out of energy soon...." That's what both Ackermans had in their minds having no knowledge of the divine power that coursed through her form.

Slash.

"Faster…!!!" Eren urged, his voice a low, urgent whisper.

"Accelerate…!!!" Levi echoed, his resolve unyielding. Gripping Eren's hand, he propelled him forward once more, targeting Annie. As they charged ahead, Levi swiftly shifted direction, aiming for her hardened torso.

"Move faster… until the world around us becomes a blur!!!" they shouted in unison, their adrenaline surging. Eren tapped into every ounce of his strength, successfully outpacing Annie's hardening ability.

In a flash, he slashed at her torso, while Levi, ever precise, struck at her thighs, hoping to immobilize her leading to first successful attack. However a trail of sapphire crystals followed up healing her instantly. "Tch bitch...." Both muttered dissapointed as they charged again however this time it didn't work.

Break

Levi and Eren both, gripping their blades in reverse, moved like shadows—their form blurring as they darted around Annie with dizzying speed. Attacks were relentless and unpredictable.

One second they were at her nape, the next at her back, then an instant later slashing at her arm. They sought to confuse her, feinting towards her arms, only to shift directions at the last second, targeting her unhardened areas in a killing strike.

But her body reacted instinctively.

Before their blades could find their mark, Annie's skin hardened like impenetrable armor, anticipating the attack with a steely gleam. Levi's weapons shattered on impact, fragments of metal exploding in all directions. Some of the shards sliced into his own flesh, leaving crimson trails across his face.

He wiped the blood from his cheek with a growl of frustration. "Tch... How pathetic can this bitch get...?" His words were bitter, seething with the failure of another assault.

Eren stood beside Levi, his eyes blazing with the same shared fury. "Mouth closed, jaws and joints hardened… Can't injure her, can't do shit… The Attack Titan's useless. Utterly useless right now."

Frustration churned in his mind, but then—a thought. His gaze darted from the hardened sections of Annie's body to the unhardened areas. Something was off. The thickness… it wasn't constant.

A realization struck Eren like lightning. Before their fight began, Annie's nape had been covered by thicker crystals. Now, those hardened areas seemed uneven, inconsistent. Could it be that channeling energy throughout her body was weakening the hardening in some spots?

He had to test it.

Eren muttered a few quick words to Levi, and without hesitation, they split up. Eren created some distance, positioning himself directly in front of Annie on the demolished street, his mind racing. Ready for the next strike, he locked eyes with her, determined to exploit her weakness.

However before he could do anything, a sudden, desperate cry pierced through the chaos.

"ANNIEEEEEE!"

The voice cut through the air like a sharp wind, breaking the tense rhythm of combat. It was Armin, maneuvering towards the battlefield with a look of regret, shame, and barely-contained anger. His breath was ragged, his eyes wide since stealthy escaped the horde of the scouts.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Annie's thoughts flickered in disbelief, her hardened expression momentarily faltering. Her gaze snapped toward him—was he suicidal?

"Armin!?" Her confusion was palpable, her guard slightly dropping.

Levi and Eren exchanged a glance, both scowling in frustration. "Aghh... Idiot, what is he doing?" they muttered in unison, their shared anger undercut by a stab of worry.

Armin, stumbling forward, his voice breaking, cried out, "Please... Stop! I beg you Annie!! This is not you Annie!!"

His words trembled, and tears began streaming from his azure eyes, glistening in the fading daylight.

He pressed on, the pain of his words almost choking him. "Back in Odel, when Eren uncovered your identity... I was a real asshole. I—I refused to believe it. The Annie I knew for three damn years couldn't be the Female Titan! Even now... I don't want to accept it."

Annie stood frozen, her fists clenched, the weight of his words breaking through the wall she had built around herself. His pleas hung in the air, heavy with the sorrow of what had been lost.

His voice softened, almost pleading. "Please... just stop. I swear the Scouts won't hurt you. Let's talk this out... like human beings. You don't need to kill anyone anymore."

"The Annie I loved.... She.... She'd never be a mass murder.... I know you better than anyone.... Annie Leonhart.... Put your trust in me like I placed mine in you... " His words echoed like a distant plea from another life—a world where they weren't enemies, where there was still hope.

For a moment, everything seemed to stop. The battle, the war, the endless cycle of violence—they were all just a heartbeat away from collapsing into silence.

"Ar... Armin," Annie whispered, tears started to roll down her titan form, her fingers slowly grasping his figure as a wave of emotions washed over her.

His heartfelt plea resonated deep within her, stirring something long buried. A faint, almost reluctant smile flickered across her lips, but it was short-lived.

However... "Aghhhhhhh!" The moment her guard dropped, Mikasa seized the opportunity. In a swift, fluid motion, she slashed at the unprotected leg, eliciting a grunt of pain from Annie.

Mikasa's strike had barely registered before a trail of sapphire crystals erupted from the wound. The crimson path of blood was instantly encased in shimmering blue, healing in an instant.

The limb that she thought would take time to recover now appeared as good as new. "What???" Mikasa whispered as she quickly maneuvered away.

Annie, however, was oblivious to her astonishment. Fury ignited within her as her gaze fixed on the blonde in front of her. "You... you're so selfish!" she roared, her voice echoing with rage.

"Stay with me, Annie!" Armin pleaded, desperate to pull her back from the abyss of her fury. "You set me up…" Annie's fists clenched, anger radiating off her in waves.

"No! I didn't set you up!!!" Armin exclaimed, his voice rising as he tried to clarify his innocence. "YOU LIED TO ME!!!" Annie thundered, launching her fist straight at him with ferocity.

"Arminnnn!!!!" Eren shouted, launching his hooks toward his friend in a desperate attempt to save him. But Armin, caught off guard, leapt from the building, struggling to maintain his balance as he aimed his hooks across the street toward a nearby house.

"I thought you were different from everyone else.... For a moment I thought I could leave everything and everyone for you... But.... But you really are an island devil," Annie seethed inwardly, her shins hardening as she prepared to strike.

Armin met her hardened gaze, knowing he was doomed. As her foot flew toward him, he whispered his final words, "Sorry...." He clenched his teeth with guilt and broken heart.

However...

Push

"Argh…" Armin grunted, his voice barely escaping as he locked eyes with Eren's emerald gaze, filled with pain and desperation. Bones crackled due to impact, his mouth bleeding, muscles tearing apart as the sheer force of the impact shattered his ODM gear.

"Eren???" he whispered, a flicker of realization dawning upon him just as Eren shoved him aside, saving him from the oncoming attack.

"Ugh…" Eren grunted, the massive force sending him flying forward. Blood droplets glimmered mercilessly in the fading light, trailing behind him as his body careened down the seemingly endless expanse of demolished street.

He lay there, battered and bruised, ragged breaths escaping him like a whisper of life. "Eren!" Levi's voice pierced the air, low yet laced with dread.

"I… I.... I'm.... I'm alright," Eren murmured, pushing against the ground, fueled by adrenaline. But suddenly, his strength faltered, and he collapsed, blood gushing from his vital organs, steam rising from his wounds.

"EREHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Mikasa's voice broke through the chaos, her protective instincts igniting. Worry etched on her as a wave of realization washed over her. It was her fault Eren was in that condition.

"Tch… I hope it didn't kill him…" Annie muttered, a pang of worry gripping her. If Eren died, her father—whom she both loved and despised—would be slaughtered by Marley, and she would meet the same fate.

Mikasa released a furious burst of steam, the cold air slicing through her, sending shivers of agony down her spine with each breath. Finally, she reached Eren, cradling his limp form in her arms, his body radiating an immense heat as steam billowed around them.

"Ereh…" Mikasa whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks as her gaze fixed on Annie, rage and dread igniting in her gray eyes, showcasing an unending well of hatred and emotion.

" You really are a real bitch Mikasa..... Attacking from the shadows... Spare me.," Annie taunted, a faint grin tugging at the corners of her lips. Ignoring both Levi and Armin, she began to stride purposefully toward Eren and Mikasa.

Levi stood frozen, shock coursing through him as a surge of anger flared within.

Sigh

He took a deep breath, tapping into his Ackerman abilities. With his eyes closed, he focused entirely on Annie. "How dare you hurt him…" he whispered slowly landing yards away from her his sapphire eyes calm as ever.

"Looks like I have to kill you first, Ackerman. Yeager, wait for me—I'll be right there," Annie hissed, her voice brimming with venom. Her massive form towered over Levi, casting long, menacing shadows that danced across the rubble-strewn ground.

But the moment she blinked, Levi was gone.

Confusion hit her like a wave. Her eyes darted around, searching for the elusive soldier. Where Levi had stood just a second ago, there was nothing but the eerie silence of the battlefield. He had vanished, leaving Annie disoriented, frustration beginning to boil within her.

"Wait, where's he??" Annie muttered, confusion flickering in her eyes. But before she could react, Levi surpassed his Ackerman instincts, tapping into something deeper, more primal. He slashed at Annie's armpits, rendering her immobile for a split second.

Just as Annie channeled her energy to form azure crystals over her wounds, healing them instantly, Levi pivoted. Targeting her crystallized toes, he aimed for her ankles, delivering a deep cut down to the bone.

The atmosphere shifted dramatically, Levi's rage pushing him beyond his limits. "You want to take him… you have to go through me first," he whispered, perched high above.

Annie, realizing he was nearly thirty meters up, swiftly hardened her entire left arm and punched toward the sun, her fist slicing through the air with fierce determination.

Levi's eyes gleamed with resolve as he drew his blades, rotating them at high speed, ready for the clash.

His blades shattered, but that didn't matter right now; all that mattered was that Annie—the idiot—was channeling her energy entirely into her limbs.

Levi noticed the thick layer of crystalline starting to thin. "Bastard, how's he moving that fast?" Annie muttered, frustration bubbling inside her as she realized Levi was once again out of her sight. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pang of pain in her triceps.

Her eyes widened in horror as her frustration swelled. She looked around frantically, but all she could see was the fleeting trail of crimson Levi left behind with each glimpse of his movement.

"Mika… Mikasa…" Eren murmured, lying in Mikasa's lap, his face pale and strained as Armin approached them, his heart heavy with concern.

"Eren!!!!" Armin called out, but Eren was too disappointed to respond, his gaze vacant and distant. Mikasa nodded, a faint smile breaking through her tears. " Sowwy.... " she replied softly.

Eren softly replied," It's.... It's no time to.... to get emotional.... her nape..." Eren gestured weakly toward Annie before dozing off, the pain finally overtaking him as he closed his eyes, his breaths heavy.

"Argh…" Levi grunted, exhaustion creeping into his muscles as he slashed through Annie's calves for the third time. His breathing was ragged, yet he remained untouchable.

All Annie could hear was the rapid rush of steam from Levi's ODM gear, drowning out everything else. "You've started to get on my nerves!!!" she shouted, hardening all her limbs and swinging them blindly at Levi in a desperate fury.

"Now!!!" Levi shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos as Mikasa emerged from the shadows once again. In one swift motion, she slashed through Annie's exposed nape, revealing the vulnerable girl within. "Fuck…" Annie whispered, shock flooding her senses as Mikasa tore her from her Titan form.

Seizing the moment, Levi—ever the strategist—quickly hurled the remnants of his demolished blades at her, cutting through her limbs with deadly precision.

"ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Annie's scream filled the air with agony, a twisted lullaby to Eren's ears. " Great, we got her Eren…" Levi managed a slight smile, sensing a glimmer of hope.

Apparently, after sustaining severe injuries, the Titan's wielder couldn't transform again—her body too busy healing. However…

"Oi, leave her! Quick!" Levi shouted. Mikasa, a bit confused, obeyed without hesitation, throwing Annie to the ground, followed by a jaw-breaking punch.

The divine power coursing through Annie's veins had other plans. In an instant, her severed limbs healed mid-air followed by a gush of warm steam, revealing her muscular arms and her thick thighs—Ehm, ehm, stop smiling, you perverts!

Annie's figure crashed onto the ground, the impact sending shockwaves through her bones. But before anyone could react, a flash of lightning struck her, igniting her transformation once more.

This time, it was clear that it wouldn't be her last. "FUCKERS… I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" Smoke swirled around her, dissipating to reveal Annie's Titan form, her crimson eyes glinting ominously in the dim light.

"Well, fuck…" Levi muttered, drawing his blades with renewed determination. "You take Eren and run away… I'll handle her." Mikasa nodded, urgency etched on her face as she hurriedly maneuvered to Eren's side, lifting him up.

In her haste, she slapped Armin, who was too stunned to act, merely watching his beloved transform again, instead of ensuring Eren's safety, anger boiled within her.

"Ereh…" Mikasa said, her hands quickly searching through Eren's body, relieved to find he had healed somewhat, though his thoughts were still hazy. "Shit… I never imagined she'd get this strong…" Eren chuckled, the sound strained yet laced with a hint of admiration.

"Mika… Mikasa, far east, quick…" Eren urged, his voice a low whisper filled with urgency. Mikasa responded immediately, wrapping his arm around her neck as they stood together, ready to face the chaos ahead.

Armin was still recovering from Mikasa's earlier slap; it seemed to have rattled his brain. Eren glanced at Mikasa, disappointment flickering in his eyes. "You didn't have to hit him, Mikasa…" he whispered, barely managing to maintain his balance.

Mikasa simply pouted, her expression adorably cute despite the chaos around them. Seeing her like that made Eren smile, if only for a moment.

"Oi Romeo… get up if you don't want to die…" Eren teased, his voice low but firm.

"Eh?" both Armin and Mikasa replied, confusion evident in their expressions. Before they could process anything further, Eren shouted, "LEVIIIIII RETREAT!!!!!!"

Levi heard Eren's call, giving a simple nod as he advanced toward them, determination etched on his face.

"No, you don't!" Annie muttered, hardening her hand to grasp Levi, but he deftly evaded her grasp.

"Quick, Mikasa, get us out of here! You get up too!" Eren urged, finally regaining his full senses. Armin nodded, snapping back to reality as he launched himself forward, closely followed by Mikasa's swift movements. Maneuvering through dark narrow alleys under Eren's.

"Right… Get down… left… up…" Eren commanded, his voice a steady anchor as Mikasa maneuvered through the narrow, dark alleys, confusion swirling around Armin and the tactical brilliance of Levi catching up.

Behind them, Annie surged forward, her fury palpable as she barreled through the debris, destroying everything in her path. She knew that if Eren fully recovered, it would become increasingly difficult for her to catch him.

Levi finally caught up with them as the towering buildings ahead crumbled under the relentless assault of Annie. The destruction, while terrifying, worked to their advantage—it slowed her down just enough.

Levi gave a quick nod to Eren, who returned the gesture. The silent exchange between them was almost instinctive, as if they were communicating without words, leaving Mikasa feeling momentarily out of place.

"Ereh, where now?" Mikasa asked, her eyes scanning the path ahead. The main street loomed before them, wide and exposed—a death trap they couldn't risk.

"Forward" Eren answered, his tone steady. Mikasa nodded, though confusion flickered in her gaze as she pressed further, "Ereh, where are we going?"

Before Eren could respond, Mikasa's attention was suddenly drawn to the figures emerging from the shadows—Hange and Erwin. Their presence, commanding and calm, seemed to thicken the air with tension. The battle-hardened group knew what was coming.

As everything aligned for one final confrontation, the command echoed through the streets.

"FIREEEEEE!!!!!"
