She clenched her hands around the mug, frustration and heartache mingling within her. "You didn't think I'd want you to? Andrew, we—" She caught herself, glancing around the room as her voice rose. She lowered her tone, leaning closer. "We kissed that night. I know you felt the same connection that I did, I know that you knew how much I'd wanted to be with you after that, and you had to have known what it meant."
