Chapter 162 - Chapter 162

The massive aerial jellyfish couldn't withstand the combined light beam attack of Seven, Leo, and Gantras, ultimately exploding into countless fragments.

Seeing this, everyone felt a wave of relief, grateful for their survival.

Seven nodded at the sight, then turned to Leo and raised his right hand.

Leo, understanding the gesture, also raised his right hand, clasping Seven's hand firmly.

At that moment, Gantras approached as well, extending its right hand to join theirs.

Together, the three raised their arms in a shared victory celebration, expressing their commitment to protect Earth together from this day forward.

...

Meanwhile, in the Dragon Ball Universe…

"Impressive! Whether it's the Ultraman or that robot, they're incredibly strong! I can't afford to lose either," said Goku, watching the events in Leo's universe through a screen, clearly excited at the prospect of fighting alongside Leo and Seven.

"Goku, focus!" Krillin's voice suddenly broke through.

On the ground, numerous humanoid creatures were running around, wreaking havoc.

The Z Warriors were fully engaged, doing everything in their power to eliminate these creatures.

It was impossible to tell just how many of these humanoid monsters had appeared in the Dragon Ball universe, but since Goku and the others left to reach West City, their numbers had grown to terrifying proportions, swarming and attacking humans as their food source.

West City had turned into a living nightmare.

Under Kami's guidance, Goku and his friends tracked down the creatures and their eggs hidden in the shadows, attempting to eradicate them entirely.

"This is so annoying! I'd rather just wipe out the whole city!" Piccolo said, visibly irritated. Wasting so much time and energy on these weak enemies frustrated him to no end.

"But, Piccolo-san, there are still people here!" Gohan quickly reminded him.

"I know!" Piccolo retorted before swiftly flying off to attack other creatures.

"By the way, Yamcha went to find Bulma. I hope they're okay," Tien remarked.

"They'll be fine. Yamcha's gotten pretty strong," Goku replied casually, rescuing a few civilians along the way.

Meanwhile, in Bulma's home, numerous humanoid creatures had already broken in, savagely attacking humans and animals alike and constantly seeking new targets.

They laid eggs as they went, multiplying at an alarming rate.

"What kind of horrible monsters are these?" Bulma, terrified, huddled in her room, trembling. Peeking through the window, she nearly vomited at the sight of the creatures' grotesque forms, quickly retreating behind the wall.

"What are Goku and the others doing? Hurry up and save me!" Bulma could only pray that Goku and his friends would come to her rescue soon; there was no way she could survive on her own!

"Thud, thud."

Suddenly, a knocking sound on the wall sent Bulma into a panic. She looked towards the source of the noise.

"Thud, thud."

The knocking grew louder and steadily closer to her location, filling her with dread.

"Boom!"

The wall was smashed open, and one of the humanoid monsters burst in, drooling as it let out a terrifying roar at Bulma.

"Ahhhh!!" Bulma screamed, her piercing cry attracting even more of the creatures.

"No, please! Don't come any closer!" Tears streamed down Bulma's face as she turned to run, but one of the monsters caught her immediately.

Turning her head, she saw the creatures opening their gruesome mouths, razor-sharp teeth bared as they lunged to bite into her flesh!

The horrific scene, with their foul stench and deranged expressions, made Bulma's eyes nearly roll back in fear.

"Bulma!"

At that moment, Yamcha's voice echoed.

A glowing orb shot forth, piercing through the monsters' bodies, saving Bulma just in time!

"Bulma, are you okay?" Yamcha appeared beside her almost instantaneously, worry evident in his voice.

"Yamcha! Thank goodness you're here!" Overwhelmed, Bulma hugged him tightly, tears of relief flowing freely.

Seeing his girlfriend so distressed, Yamcha could only smile wryly.

"What about my parents?" Bulma suddenly remembered, anxiously asking about her parents' safety.

"Don't worry. I've already rescued them and brought them to a safe place," Yamcha reassured her with a smile.

"That's a relief! Oh, wait! There's still someone in the lab; we have to save him!"

Bulma recalled something important, her face showing concern.

"What? That guy you brought back?" Yamcha's expression soured.

"Oh, don't be jealous now. He was badly injured, so I took him in out of kindness—and besides, he's quite handsome."

"So that's the real reason! What if he has ulterior motives?"

"Why are you upset? You're the one who flirted with other women first!"

"That's beside the point!"

"Ahhhhh!!"

As the two bickered, more creatures gathered, showing no fear of Yamcha's strength, unrelenting in their pursuit.

"Fine, we'll talk about this later. Let's just get him out!" Yamcha said, unleashing a barrage of energy blasts to obliterate the horde of creatures.

Then he picked up Bulma and flew toward the lab she mentioned.

"There it is!" Bulma pointed to a domed building in the distance.

The lab was swarming with humanoid creatures, with holes everywhere and the interior in complete disarray.

If anyone was still inside, their fate was likely grim.

"Damn it! These creatures reproduce at an insane rate," Yamcha muttered, having initially underestimated them due to their weak individual strength. But as time passed, he realized just how troublesome they were.

Their rapid reproduction made them nearly impossible to wipe out completely, and with Kami struggling to keep up, even more of the hidden creatures remained undiscovered.

If it weren't for the presence of civilians, he would have opted for an all-out bombardment long ago.

Just as Yamcha approached the lab, something unimaginable happened.

The lab suddenly exploded, a powerful blast of light shooting skyward.

"What the…!?" Bulma exclaimed, utterly shocked. She had no memory of anything in the lab being capable of such a powerful explosion.

"This energy… could it be…?"

Yamcha's expression was frozen in shock, sweat pouring down his face, his eyes wide with disbelief.

The other Z Warriors, too, shuddered at the sight of the explosion, turning to look at its origin in stunned silence.

"Impossible… why is he here?"

"Isn't that Bulma's house?"
