The holiday wasn't bad. Felix still found ways to enjoy himself and to communicate with Psalm.
He'd actually finally gotten the guts to try to ask his mother questions about his dad's change of character at a particular point, and he was met with a nervous look. And a forced smile. She gave him a few kisses and told him to just thank God for his father's change of heart.
Yeah, he did not like that. It also made him a bit angry. He knew his mom wouldn't excitedly tell him everything but he didn't expect her to say that shit.
"Are you alright?"
It was in the middle of the night and he'd stepped out the gate to buy something. Mostly to just receive fresh air, though. He couldn't stay in the same room as his mom when she was acting so…
"Felix?"
"I'm fine," he grunted.
