Your friend is quite...rash," Jon said.
Felix nodded in agreement. "I'm aware."
It was nighttime and they were just seated, talking. Ada had left hours ago and they suddenly had no motivation to do anything. Not their assignments, not eating, and definitely not sleeping.
"How come you're not mad at me?"
Felix raised a brow. "Mad at you for what?"
"The whole Ada situation," Jon explained. "You haven't yelled at me in anger, or cursed me."
"I'm not a big fan of yelling. And yelling won't really do much," Felix said, looking at his friend. "You didn't really do anything wrong, to be honest, and Ada is my main focus now."
Jon nodded. "I guess my first meeting with her was a disaster."
"Don't worry, she's usually sweet. Just not for now."
"Because of me and my big mouth," Jon sighed.
Internally, Felix had to agree.
