"What do you do exactly here?" Kane asked as he drove down the path.
"The will states that I'm supposed to head this company," Aurora replied.
"You mean like a CEO?" Kane inquired, glancing at her briefly before focusing back on the road.
"Exactly," Aurora confirmed. "I'm supposed to oversee operations, make executive decisions, and ensure everything runs smoothly. It's a big responsibility, but it's what the old man wanted."
As they approached the designated parking area, Kane parked the car and turned off the engine. "Well, it looks like you've got quite the empire to run," he said, impressed.
Aurora nodded and said, "Yeah, I do. But it's just one of eight companies. It's not like I'm special or anything."
"He must have loved you, seeing how he left you all of this," said Kane.
