Chapter 7 - Miss Celsi [5]

He stood in the same position, gazing up at the rainy sky.

"Rui... If you're still alive, what would you say? Let your big sister listen to you this time!" Celsi

Aswa grabbed Celsi's leg.

"You... still don't know your limits, huh? Giving up is your best option," Celsi spoke with a blank expression.

"Hehe... Fool, as long as you're alive, you still have a chance—whether it's the second, the 30th, the 70th, or even the 100th."

Hearing Aswa's words, Celsi seemed slightly surprised. She slowly looked at him.

"What if you're a killer? Do you think chances can erase that?" Celsi asked.

"If you're a killer, then you're still a killer. But if you want to change, then just stop. If you keep doing it..." Aswa spoke while crawling towards Celsi.

"Even if you die, you'll still be a murderer! What do you think laws exist for? Of course, to atone for mistakes... Idiot!"

Phek

Aswa lightly punched Celsi's face—so softly that it had no effect on her.

On the other hand, Celsi stared at Aswa seriously. Her pupils widened as if in shock.

"If you still don't get it... Just wait for me to rise again! Then, I'll beat you up! This is a man's promise, hehe," Aswa grinned widely.

At that moment, Celsi saw her little brother's soul inside Aswa. Her red eyes began to glow.

Meanwhile, Aswa slowly started to collapse. Then, he completely fell unconscious.

It looked like Celsi had won again.

Celsi stood still. Unlike before, she wasn't looking at the sky this time. Instead, she was looking at Aswa.

Could Aswa really defeat Celsi?

"Huh... I'm getting bored of waiting. How long do you think it'll take for him to get back up?" Celsi muttered.

Arca opened his eyes. It seemed he had regained consciousness. He was pinned under the debris of the destroyed building.

"Ugh... So annoying."

KRAK - KRAK Arca pushed away the debris trapping him.

Then, he stood up, still a bit wobbly, and walked back to the battlefield.

"Huh?... Looks like Aswa lost. That means it's my turn to fight, right?" Arca said.

"Wait!" Celsi signaled him to stop.

"What? Don't tell me you're scared of me? If that's the case, fine, I'll give you time to rest... In the end, I'll be the one to take you down anyway!" Arca smirked, full of confidence.

"It's not that... The problem is, even the two of you together couldn't defeat me. What makes you think you can do it alone?" Celsi responded.

"Yeah, whatever. I'll take that as an excuse," Arca replied.

Then, he took off his shirt, standing bare-chested in the pouring rain.

"???" Celsi looked confused.

After that, Arca raised both hands slightly, about shoulder height. Then, out of nowhere...

He started running around randomly—

As if he was playing in the rain.

"Sigh... What is this kid doing now?" Celsi shook her head.

She grabbed a chair from one of the classrooms and placed it in the open field under the rain.

Some time passed—about 20 minutes.

"Ah..." Aswa finally opened his eyes. He sat up for a moment to regain his focus before standing up.

He noticed Arca playing in the rain.

"What is he doing?... Ah, right. Wasn't I supposed to fight Celsi?" Aswa took a deep breath, then—

"Celsiiiiiiii!!... Where are you??" Aswa shouted loudly.

Hearing someone scream, Arca stopped and turned towards Aswa.

"Oh... You're finally awake! That took forever!" Arca said.

"... What's that? Do you like playing in the rain?" Aswa asked, curious about Arca's behavior.

"I don't know... I just like watching the water. Anyway, that person has been waiting for us! How about we teach her a lesson?" Arca smirked, pointing at Celsi, who was sitting on the chair.

Aswa looked at Celsi. It seemed like she had been waiting. She was now releasing a slight aura that could strike fear into anyone—

But not Aswa and Arca.

They looked completely ready to fight again.

"Let's go!... Round three! Hehe."

Aswa grinned.
