Chapter 8 - Miss Celsi [6]

Aswa looked at Celsi, who seemed to be waiting. Celsi exuded a faint aura that could make anyone tremble, but not Aswa and Arca. They both looked ready to fight again.

"Let's begin!... Round three! Hehe."

Aswa grinned.

Arca opened the fight. He dashed toward Celsi and launched a kick. Celsi quickly reacted.

He vanished from Arca's sight, but Arca didn't stop there. He continued his kick, forming a spinning motion aimed behind him.

Shossh

Unfortunately, Arca miscalculated—Celsi wasn't behind him. Instead, he was above him.

Aswa ran and jumped toward Celsi, trying to grab him mid-air, but Celsi dodged effortlessly.

Aswa immediately followed up with a forward kick toward Celsi.

Celsi saw an opening between them—he could strike them both from the middle. But then, he remembered that Arca had used his leg, meaning his hands were positioned behind him.

That meant Celsi could be caught like before, leaving him with no choice but to retreat backward.

He stepped back, but at that moment… Celsi was surprised.

Arca was already right in front of him.

Bhuakk!

Arca delivered a direct punch to Celsi's head.

The punch landed squarely, making Celsi stumble. However, Celsi used this to his advantage, launching an upward kick at Arca, making it difficult for him to dodge.

Bhuakk!

Arca was sent flying backward. Aswa caught him by planting his foot on Arca's shoulder, preventing him from being thrown too far.

Aswa grinned, "See? I told you I'd beat you up!"

Celsi got back on his feet. In his mind, he analyzed Aswa and Arca's teamwork. The moment Aswa was mid-kick towards Celsi, his hands were behind him—not to grab Celsi this time, but to grab Arca and throw him forward.

"He already knew I would retreat backward..." Celsi thought.

"Heh… Turns out you're not as fast as I thought!" Aswa smirked.

"So this is what you meant by a man's promise?" Celsi asked.

"Yeah, something like that!" Aswa laughed.

"Hmm… Interesting." Celsi smiled.

"Damn… That kick really hurt. His speed is seriously annoying." Arca grumbled.

"Oi, Aswa! You noticed it too, right? His speed is fast, but it's not like before. He seems a bit slower. And his eyes… they're not red anymore. Plus, he's talking more. Do you know what's going on?" Arca asked, keeping his focus on Celsi.

Arca could tell something was different about Celsi compared to before.

"Hmm… I don't know. What do you think?" Aswa replied casually.

The heavy rain had now calmed to a drizzle.

They stared at each other for quite some time, and then…

They dashed toward each other—Aswa and Arca charged at Celsi, and Celsi ran toward them.

This time, Celsi was running, but Aswa and Arca could see him clearly.

They closed in on each other. Once they got close, both Aswa and Arca launched their punches. Aswa attacked from the left, while Arca struck from the right.

Bhuakkk!

Celsi blocked both of their punches, each with just one hand.

"Let's finish this." Arca smirked.
