After class ended and the exam results were announced, Anna left the classroom accompanied by Paul and David.
She could still feel the curious stares of some students and hear the murmurs around her, but thanks to her friends, they had managed to escape the chaos of questions that erupted after the announcement of the top five.
"We barely made it out," Paul commented, sighing with relief. "Everyone wanted to know how you ended up in the top five again!"
David, walking on Anna's other side, nodded while maintaining his usual calm expression.
"It's not easy dodging that many questions. Everyone wanted to know your secret."
Anna smiled, grateful.
"Thanks, really. I wouldn't have gotten out of there so easily with everyone surrounding me like that."
Paul, always the optimist, smiled proudly.
"It's nothing. It's the least we could do after you helped both of us make it into the top five. That was amazing!"
