Chapter 27 - The class

While the three continued their conversation—well, more like the argument between Edrick and Leo about ghosts—someone from the orphanage approached their table and caught their attention.

It was one of the caretakers, her expression a mix of patience and urgency, as if she was already used to interrupting the kids no matter what they were doing.

"Alright, kids, start getting ready. You've got class soon," she informed them in a firm tone.

Upon hearing this, Anna blinked, slightly surprised.

"Class! How could I forget about that?" she thought with a touch of nostalgia.

She vaguely remembered her time as a student at the orphanage, but it hadn't left a strong impression in her memory.

It was just a minor detail, overshadowed by more important events. But now, faced with the return of that school routine, she couldn't help but feel a little strange.

Meanwhile, Edrick stopped arguing for a moment and turned to Anna.
