Chapter 13 - painting exhibition

For the next three days, Karim didn't come to the library. He had mentioned needing to visit the local branch of the military in Wisteria City, so I spent the time by myself. I focused on my studies and tried not to worry too much about his absence. His phone was turned off, making it impossible to reach him. Though I missed our study sessions and his company, I used the time to reflect and recharge.

On the fourth day, I decided to do something different to lift my spirits. There was a painting exhibition in town, and I thought it would be a perfect way to spend the day. I had always loved paintings, and drawing was a hobby of mine. The exhibition featured landscape-style artwork, which I found especially appealing. It sounded like a good step toward a change of mindset.
