Since Dezen had plans regarding that magic for a long time, he already made some preparations. One of them was tasking 5 of his new human undead to get to know the process of creation and use of spells, making this way competent servants for that task.
However, Dezen wasn't personally participating in this, since he had to cultivate, improve his plans and oversee all of his undead.
The five undead (the one who made this magic was tasked with creating a new one) stored from something small - bugs. They were already reproducing quickly, so he thought they will be good to begin with. He also chose them because he wanted to create a colony of bugs, that will join his undead army after death, and will be an additional source of food for his future colony of birds.
In a week, they all made different spells, that could be used together, and moved to making versions for birds, after tests confirming they were successful. The next time, it took less than 2 weeks, but unluckily, some of them had the flaw of making flying for birds harder. Short examination told Dezen, that it was because they became heavier due to them.
It was the first problem he will have to deal with, while using this magic - unforeseen side effects. In this situation, he had 2 ways to solve it. The first, was using only the "perfect" spells, the second was creating new spells, to balance the flaws.
For obvious reasons, he chose the first option, but he still checked if there is something he missed.
After birds, it was time for the animals he breeds for meat. This time, the modifications will include making their bodies bigger, so it took more time.

During their ride to Ternen, undead from the caravan found magical beings - suffocating trees. It was a rare occasion, so one of the human undead informed Chloe about it, and went to catch them, with some of his undead brothers.
Guided by spells and undead birds, they quickly found them, to be exact, 4 of them, though he sensed 6. It was strange, because naturally they move in groups to increase the chance of survival.
The human undead didn't think about it too much, and ordered 4 undead to get close to the trees in purpose of getting caught, while the others were surrounding them. This way, they could prepare to attack with paralysing poisons without any problems.
Soon, the trees were unable to move, but the human undead wasn't sure if they possess no threat, so he put on them next immobilizing spell. Black chains, creating a web, appeared over them, and quickly bound the suffocating trees, completely neutralizing them.
Thanks to it, he was sure the trees possess no threat, so he sent them to Dezen, who was already preparing an appropriate place for them.
Then, they tried to locate the other suffocating trees via magic. Strangely, they couldn't, so the human undead decided that they will divide in small groups of 3, to find out what happened to them.
He was also taking a part in this with 2 wolves, and found some tracks after 8 minutes.
It looked like a battleground, but instead of blood and corpses, there were fallen parts of suffocating trees. Seeing it, he summoned to him the rest of the undead, and contacted Dezen to ask what could cause it.
Dezen couldn't really answer this question, as there are too many creatures able to such thing. Thus, he teleported there, what looked like he took a step forward, through an invisible door, and examined the place personally.
Unluckily, the only thing he could find were enormous footprints of an unknown beast, and even they seemed to be left, because the soil there was especially soft.
Dezen stood in one place, wondering if there is something else he can do, but before he came up with anything, the searched creature found him first.
Standing around 10 metres away, it was looking at him, waiting for a good moment to attack. With unknown magic it was hiding, and Dezen notice it only thanks to his undead.
The best words to describe this is wendigo on steroids, over 4 metres tall, with pitch black fur, skull covering the front of his face, hiding what's under it in darkness, deer horns, and many small branches coming out of its body. Probably the most impressive part of his body, just after the third leg, were enormous muscles. For instance, his biceps were bigger than his head (if you don't count the horns), so it was nothing strange that Dezen felt overwhelmed by his presence.
They were standing there, staring at each other for a minute, before Dezen send 2 modified wendigos to attack the beast, while the rest of the undead started encirclement. He himself used in a row 2 enslavement spells, since his purpose was to catch, not kill.
The creature easily turned the upper bodies of wendigos in bloody mess with 2 two swings of its hands. Then, he engaged in a fight with the other undead, but was affected a little by the enslavement spells, which slowed him slightly.
Seeing only a small part of the creature's strength, which was more than impressive, Dezen created 3 barriers to protect his servants. The first one was invisible, the second one was made from green energy, and the last one was from stone, which was unseen due to the smoke covering it. Then, he brought out the big guns and used Cutting Fog, aiming at its joints.
The wendigo on steroids broke through the barriers, by just charging at them, and then kicked the undead bear, destroying most of him. The Cutting Fog covered most of its body to this time, and with some problems it got through the fur and skin, making the beings groan in annoyance. As a response, he picked one of the undead and threw it at Dezen, who dodged, while using the next enslavement spells.
The creature ignored the undead attacking it, and charged at Dezen, who managed to run by using space magic. This situation repeated few times, what was good for Dezen. The enslavement spells were slowly accumulating, making it act against its will, and what was more important, he almost had enough mana to teleport Nanan - the wolf whose shape he changed into a giant beast. Knowing his strength, Dezen believed that with him, he will be able to suppress, then catch and seal the being.
At least that's what he thought, before seeing Nanan being defeated, while being strengthened by spells. Luckily, he wasn't severely injured, because they caught each other hands and wrestled.
When he fell down, the creature wanted to rip open his belly with claws, but Dezen teleported Nanan, and attacked with spears of green fire. They, and the fire they created, didn't do much, but at least they distracted the being, so Dezen attacked with Cutting Fog and poisons.
The fight went on, and Dezen started to get the advantage over the being, mostly because it could get tired and his undead could not.
It took almost 40 minutes to immobilize it, not only by Nanan and the rest of the undead, but also by poisons, and enslavement spells. However, the next part - sealing, won't be easy either, due to his lack of strong spells in this aspect. The best he can currently do is keep the being in the current while also weakening it, and adding seals.
After he did it, Dezen had to face the problem of transporting them. He couldn't do it using space magic, since he didn't have enough mana. Transporting them via carriages wouldn't be possible, because he doesn't have them big enough, nor he can buy them. Thus, he decided to use one of his gigantic undead birds.
Currently, they all are at his house, waiting until they will have a competent undead to oversee the caravan they will make. Thus, there was no problem with using them.
For this task, Dezen ordered his phoenix to come and teleported back to his home. He still has other tasks to complete, along with human needs, and it will take a few days until the phoenix comes.
One of the things he had to do was creating a suitable cage for that monstrous wendigo, which will require a lot of enchanted items, formations, and even undead. Thinking he can't do this by himself, he went to Aren and bought knowledge, sealing enchanted items and metal magical resources. The last one was for one of his undead tree, that will have to personally bind the creature.

Dezen knew that he will be catching creatures appearing in his world, so ordered his undead to create a prison long time ago. The entrance was a giant, metal gate, placed in the soil. Under it were stairs, leading deep underground, to the cells. The latter weren't yet completed, but out of need, he ordered undead to focus on preparing the cage for the monstrous wendigo. Dezen even personally took part in this, enchanting the chains, or writing formations.
After over a week, the phoenix finally arrived. He leaned over, letting the undead take the monstrous wendigo off him, what they did carefully. Then, they slowly moved to the cage, overseen by the phoenix. Unfortunately, it couldn't get inside the prison, due to its size, so he waited near the gate.
The cell they took the creature to was just a big, almost empty room, with one of the walls being entirely made out of bars, being also the door. The undead brought the monstrous wendigo inside, closed the door, then slowly releazed one hand, to chain it. Nothing happened, so they repeated it 3 times, and stopped poisoning him. This time he moved a little, but the metal undead tree wrapped around him, so there was nothing left to fear.
Then, most of the undead carefully left the prison with Dezen, except Nanan, who had to stay to ensure safety. At least for now. Dezen wasn't sure if he needs to stay in the jail permanently, or to take him out, so he postponed the decision until the gate will be ended. Then, even if the creature escapes the cage and Nanan is absent, it alone should stop the monstrous wendigo for at least an hour, granting enough time to react properly.
Said high safety will be achieved thanks to numerous formations, heavy enchantments, and the fact that it is made from magical metal. Of course, it consumes a lot of mana, but Dezen discovered that his undead with stronger bonds becomes mages, after using spells by their own for a long time. That means, they are also producing mana, so he doesn't have to personally fuel the prison.
