"You just... what, Fumiko? What are you trying to say?" Hiroto asked, struggling to straighten his shirt.
Fumiko avoided his gaze, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I came here to ask if you could join us for dinner," she mumbled.
Hiroto raised an eyebrow, feigning confusion. "All of us? Like who?"
Fumiko took a deep breath, steeling herself. "Don't play dumb, Hiroto Anzai. You know exactly what I mean. I'm asking you when you'll join us for dinner."
A smirk crept across Hiroto's lips. "When will I have dinner with whom? You?"
Fumiko's patience was wearing thin. "Hiroto, stop teasing. The kids are waiting for you, especially Akie. He's already threatening to skip dinner unless you join us. I can usually handle him, but not when it comes to you. I might handle Hiro but not him. Hiro was with you from his childhood but it wasn't the same for Akie so i can't control him"
