Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Dominic had always been an optimistic and kind-hearted individual. Growing up in a small town, he valued loyalty and honesty above all else. He had a decent job as a software engineer, a close-knit group of friends, and a loving girlfriend named Amanda. Or so he thought.

Dominic's world came crashing down when he discovered Amanda cheating on him with his best friend, Lucas. Betrayed and heartbroken, Dominic ended the relationship and cut off all ties with Lucas.

For days after the breakup, Amanda incessantly called and texted, begging for forgiveness. Dominic ignored every attempt at contact, telling himself, 'There's no reason to care about people who didn't give a damn about my own emotions.' Though it was painful, Dominic refused to let himself fall into depression.

A week after the breakup, Dominic decided to get out of his apartment and treat himself to some comfort food. He walked to the local pizzeria, "Ethan's Slice," run by his old high school buddy, Ethan.

As he entered the pizzeria, the familiar smell of fresh dough and spices brought a small smile to his face. He approached the counter where Ethan was kneading dough.

"Hey, Dominic! Long time no see. You look... rough. What's up?" Ethan asked, concern evident in his eyes.

"Yeah, it's been a hell of a week. Amanda and Lucas... they were cheating on me," Dominic replied, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Damn, man. I'm really sorry to hear that. That's awful," Ethan said, sympathy in his voice. He paused, then, with a strange glint in his eye, he added, "Hey, if you could restart your life in any fantasy world, where would you go?"

Dominic blinked, caught off guard by the bizarre question. 'Why is he asking me this?' he thought. But then, he decided to humor his friend. "Well, Marvel seems pretty cool. So, yeah, maybe there."

Ethan clapped his hands together, eyes lighting up. "Ohhh, is that so? Hmm, and what kind of power set would you want?"

Dominic chuckled, "There are too many to count. Let's see... telekinesis, telepathy on Martian Manhunter's level, teleportation like in that movie Jumper—able to go anywhere even by just looking at a picture on Earth. Orihime's rejection powers from Bleach, but without the hairpins. Domain expansion of Gojo, and maybe the Six Eyes."

Ethan looked impressed, "Wow, you are greedy. But okay, let's get into specifics. How about the total number of letters in your name be the amount of power you have, which is seven. What about the Six Eyes? They'll have five functions, with the last being regular sight. Choose."

Dominic pondered for a moment, "Alright. Telescopic sight, microscopic sight, X-ray vision, heat vision—but capable of both heat sensing and heat emission like Superman—and lastly, the ability to see all energy, or energy viewing."

Ethan nodded, "Sounds good. And what about the seventh power?"

Dominic thought carefully, "Immunity to outside influences such as mind, soul, body, and power manipulation. No one should be able to read my mind, manipulate my soul, clone me, or take my powers."

Ethan grinned, "Well that immunity will be up to a point, not completely immune but highly resistant to outside influences but anything on the higher scale and boy you will have to find your way around it yourself. You'll definitely need a physique to handle all that. Let's say you get strengthened considerably until you're bulletproof. Is that all?"

Dominic laughed, "I wouldn't mind looking like Gojo as well. Hehehe." Both of them laughed at the joke.

After his pizza was done, Dominic thanked Ethan and left the pizzeria. As he walked away, Ethan watched his retreating form and whispered to himself with a grin, "Ohh, this will be fun."

Later that night, Dominic sat in his small apartment, the remnants of the pizza on the coffee table. He felt a strange sense of calm after the conversation with Ethan. It had been oddly therapeutic, despite its bizarre nature.

He brushed his teeth, turned off the lights, and climbed into bed. As he drifted off to sleep, a faint thought crossed his mind, 'Maybe things are about to change for the better.'

The next morning, Dominic woke up feeling strangely refreshed. The first thing he noticed when he opened his eyes was how clear everything was, as if he had been seeing through a fog his whole life. Then, the realization hit him: 'This isn't my ceiling.'

He sat up abruptly and swung his legs over the side of the bed. Standing up, he immediately noticed his increased height. 'I wasn't this tall before.' He glanced around the room, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. The furniture was sleek and modern, a stark contrast to his own modest belongings.

A large window let in the morning sunlight, casting a warm glow over the minimalist decor. Everything felt different, yet he felt strangely good—better than he had in years.

As he stretched, he suddenly looked at his arm and gasped. He could see his pores, muscles, bones, and even cells with shocking clarity. "What the fuck is this?" he exclaimed. In his confusion, he stumbled backward and fell to the floor. He looked around in a panic before his eyes landed on a floating envelope on the nearby table.

Seeing the bizarre envelope, he reached out for it, and to his astonishment, it moved toward him as if pulled by an invisible force. He grabbed it and tore it open, revealing a letter inside.

Letter from Ethan:

"Hey Dominic,

Surprise! If you're reading this, it means you've discovered your new reality. Let me explain. I'm not just Ethan, your old high school buddy and pizza guy. I'm actually an omnipotent being on vacation, often referred to as a Random Omnipotent Being (ROB) in certain circles. Our conversation last night was a test of sorts, and you passed with flying colors.

I've reincarnated you into the Marvel Universe, giving you a second life with some... enhancements. Your identity, money, and social status have all been taken care of. You'll find you have a bank account with sufficient funds, a new identity, and all necessary documents, including a school certificate and birth certificate. Your tragic backstory of losing your parents in an explosion remains, but you now have the chance to forge a new path.

Enjoy your new life, explore your powers, and make the most of this second chance.

From your favorite pizzeria owner who was secretly a ROB, hehehe.

P.S. I've taken the liberty of arranging for you to be 17 again. Have fun!"

As he finished reading the letter, a massive migraine struck him. Memories flooded his mind—his life, his parents, and all the moments leading up to now. He discovered he was indeed 17 again and had stopped going school four months ago after his parents' deaths due to depression.

He began to go over all he knew of this specific universe. 'Tony Stark incident? Check. Fantastic Four? Check. Mutants? Check.' It was a combination of Marvel 616 and the MCU. The realization was both exhilarating and terrifying.

Dominic stood up, the last remnants of the headache fading away. He looked around the room once more, taking in every detail. Then, he moved to the bathroom, needing to see his reflection. As he approached the mirror, his heart pounded with anticipation. What would he see?

The bathroom was as sleek and modern as the rest of the apartment. He stepped in front of the mirror and gasped. Staring back at him was a reflection that resembled Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen—tall, white-haired, and strikingly handsome. His eyes, however, were the most astonishing feature, glowing with a deep, mesmerizing blue.

"Holy shit," he whispered. The transformation was complete, and he was ready to embrace his new life.

Dominic spent a few moments adjusting to his new appearance, running his fingers through his white hair and examining his vibrant eyes. 'This is insane,' he thought. 'But if this is real, then I have to learn to control these powers.'
