"Please," Aric said with a warm smile and a composed air.
"I feel sorry for Felix," C99 commented, half-laughing, in Aric's privacy.
"It's fine. I'm not planning to use Alvaro's power for this training match," Aric reassured her.
"Really? Are you thinking about practicing the Basic Conqueror Combat Art instead?" C99 guessed.
"You know me too well," Aric confirmed with a nod.
C99 expressed her approval, "That's a brilliant idea. I thought you'd have to wait until you were in the Battle Arena to use that combat style. But here we are, someone's practically volunteered to be your practice partner."
Aric couldn't help but smile at C99's observation. She was right, as usual. In addition to copying Alvaro's power, Aric copied his attributes, too.
Aric was confident in his abilities and did not expect to lose against Felix. His casual smile, however, was taken the wrong way by both the audience and Felix.
