But Raven was already drawn in, his mind struggling to decipher the secrets hidden within the whispers. Lyra and Mira exchanged worried glances as Raven's eyes glazed over, his focus wavering.
"Raven, snap out of it!" Lyra shouted, grabbing his arm. "We need to keep moving!"
Raven shook his head, his eyes refocusing. "I'm okay," he muttered. "Just... just give me a minute."
Mira stepped forward, her eyes fixed on Raven's face. "What did the whispers say?" she asked softly.
Raven's eyes locked onto hers. "They're telling me that we're not supposed to be here," he said. "That we're trespassing on sacred ground. That we'll never find what we're looking for."
