Chapter 2 - Save The Mutants Project

In the office, the atmosphere suddenly became tense.

Lynn's words were too blunt.

Even the composed Professor X couldn't help but change his expression.

"You... don't agree with my ideas?"

He felt heartbroken that a student he had taught for ten years did not recognize his philosophy. At the same time, an unspeakable anger arose: "Do you think Magneto is right? That only by eradicating all humans can Mutants survive?"

"Definitely not," Lynn shook his head. "Mutants are always a minority, and most haven't ignored the strength of various high-tech weapons. A very small number of top-level Mutants cannot directly destroy humanity."

"So, Magneto can't succeed unless he's powerful enough to sweep everything away."

This remark relieved Professor X a bit, but also made him more puzzled: "If that's the case, why do you think I will lead Mutants to perish?"

Lynn sighed softly.

Definitely what the plot told me.

"With all due respect, Professor, being overly accommodating will never earn respect. Blindly giving will not secure true friendship."

He looked at the old face of Professor X and said seriously, "Professor, you're too flattering and tolerant towards humans. The peace you've achieved is essentially pinning the future of Mutants on the goodwill of humans..."

"This is like a castle in the air, false and dangerous!"

To be honest, Professor X is an indispensable spiritual leader for the Mutant community.

But he is definitely not a qualified leader!

Being overly compassionate is one thing.

More importantly, he has significant limitations in his thinking!

Perhaps because he's a high-level intellectual, he actually believes that by showing kindness to humans, he can gain their friendship. He doesn't realize that this is a war!

Between Mutants and humans, between the X-Men and Magneto, it's a war!

The former is a struggle for the survival rights of two species.

The latter is a battle of ideologies.

Anyone who has read history knows that in these two situations, rivers of blood flow in life-and-death struggles!

Victory leads to life! Defeat means annihilation!

How can there be a third result?

And what about Professor X?

He has defeated Magneto several times, but he has never killed him. Not long ago, he defeated the Mutant Brotherhood (X-Men one plot) at the Statue of Liberty and only handed Magneto over to human officials, locking him up.

This can be explained by the fact that he needs Magneto to make humans feel threatened at all times, so they cherish the friendship with the peace-promoting Mutants more.

What about Jean Grey?

For the students of the academy, Professor X has always taught them not to be afraid of their super abilities but to learn to accept, master, and control them...

But for the Phoenix Force inside Jean Grey, he never tried to understand it.

Instead, he simply and rudely sealed the Phoenix Force!

In the end, this led to the emergence of the Dark Phoenix!

This is outrageous!

"False? Dangerous?"

Professor X didn't understand the nuances of Eastern culture or Lynn's inner thoughts.

He just frowned, waiting for Lynn's further explanation.

"That's right!"

Lynn nodded. "Professor, have you ever considered that even if humans and Mutants coexist peacefully one day, those politicians, careerists, and corporate groups will never stop developing weapons against Mutants?"

"This is impossible!"

"It's not about good or evil; it's about human nature!"

"Mutants possess powerful abilities, which make humans extremely insecure. No one wants their life and death to be in the hands of others!"

"So, if weapons against Mutants can't be developed, once they are..."

"It will be the day humans completely eliminate Mutants!"

"And when that time comes, Mutants who lack vigilance will only perish faster!"

These words were resolute and clear.

Professor X looked at Lynn in surprise.

He had not expected such a profound and thorough analysis from a student who had never left the academy.

Over the years, he had imagined the future of Mutants countless times and had broken his heart for their group.

So he had to admit that what Lynn said made sense!

Even he hadn't thought about this possibility...

But in the current situation, it was extremely difficult for Mutants to even survive!

Why think so far ahead?

"Lynn, you surprise me! Very, very much!"

He took a deep breath and, in a trance, felt some kind of leader's temperament in this young man who was not yet eighteen.

With this vision alone, all the teachers in the school were far inferior!

This student couldn't be treated with common sense!

"I heard you enjoy spending time in the library. It seems you've really learned a lot over the years..."

Looking at Lynn's young and determined face, Professor X sighed deeply: "As you said, Mutants are a minority. To change our living environment, there's a long road ahead. The path I've taken might not be right..."

"But it's precisely because of this that we need me, the X-Men, and new generations of Mutants like you to work together, isn't it?"

"You're leaving the academy now, just giving up and watching Mutant's situation worsen every day?"

Lynn froze for a moment.

Then he laughed.

"Professor, I didn't say I was giving up."

Having traveled to this world and being a Mutant, Lynn didn't want to be someone else's prey and live in fear for the rest of his life.

When he entered Xavier's School, he had already started his own plan.

Just then, a "click" was heard.

He snapped his fingers, and a stack of A4 papers appeared on the desk out of thin air. On the top cover, it read: "Save the Mutant Project Proposal!"

Professor X's gaze trembled violently!
