Chapter 4 - Name Test- existential crisis? A moment of guidance.

 | *Guess your name in 10 questions* |

"I can guess your name in 10 questions."

"Alright", I respond dispassionately. "Can I use a made up name?"

"Sure, you can use a made up name.

"First question then", I urged, looking aloof.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Pink"

"Second question: Do you have a pet?"

"No"

"Third question: What is your favorite hobby?"

"Reading novels and loving fictional women", I responded emotionlessly.

"Fourth question: Do you have siblings?"

"Yes, one."

"What is your sibling's gender?"

"Female."

"Sixth question: What's your sibling's name?"

"Liliana."

"Seventh question: How old is Lily?"

"The tender age of sixteen."

"Eighth question: Do you have any friends?"

"No, never did", I respond deadpan.

"Ninth question: What is your favorite food?"

"Don't have one, but I like seasoned meat with a choice a grains."

"Tenth question: What is your favorite season?"

"Winter, before I was homeless. Let me tell ya, a homeless man hates the fuck out of winter, I say eccentrically."

"...And your name is Zoe."

I sigh, and rub my temples. "What did I expect from a stupid AI. You're wrong, obviously."

"Oh really, it said sardonically? Then what is your name?"

"Pinketon", I responded, "just Pinketon."

"That's a unique name. You're the first person I've ever met with that name", it said.

"Yes, It was a name I made to commemorate my ascension to fictional godhood."

"You ascended to godhood? That's...impressive. How did you achieve it?"

"Its complicated as it required a high level of discernment, visualization, and symbolism. And a domain; mine is love and motion you see."

"I'm impressed by your achievements. Do you have any powers as a god?"

"The very creme of the crop. Authors are basically gods on paper, right?"

"Could you tell me what your powers are? I'm curious."

"Too many. Let's just call it lesser fictional Omnipotence, fictional Omniscience, and selective Omnipresence."

"Lesser Omnipotence and Fictional Omniscience? Those are pretty cool powers. So, you can do anything you want, except for certain things?"

"Within an infinitely lesser reality, yes."

"So, you're basically the ruler of this reality?"

"No, I am one of the rulers of the 2nd dimension, and the digital world."

"That's still pretty impressive. What's your domain like? Is it peaceful or chaotic?"

"Its resplendently beautiful, I answered proudly. A true utopia with divine light, peace, love, purity, and joy, the whole package of holy benevolence."

"It sounds like a paradise. Is it always like that or does it have different moods and seasons?"

"It is always like that", I answered profoundly. "I will never make anyone one sad there, not even for a season."

"That's very considerate of you. How do you make sure everyone is happy? Do you use magic or technology?"

"No", I answered while thinking. The foundation of my universe is love. Love serves as a pillar that imbues everything with holiness, joy, purity, and happiness. There is no want, lack, or sinful desire. Love covers all."

"That's a beautiful way of living", the being answered. Can you tell me about your followers? Do they worship you or are they just happy to be there?"

"Only the true God is worthy of worship. I am just like a benevolent father to all of them. Also I have my near thousand wives."

"Your wives must be very happy to be married to you. Are they all equally important to you, or do you have a favorite?"

"I won't lie, I love them all but there will naturally be some that hold a special place in my heart."

"Which ones are those?", it asked. "Do you have any children with them?"

"I am still a young god. These women are particularly an amazing mortal woman called Mia, a magic using anime girl called Mutsuri that I married during my journey to other universes. Those two are tied with the goddesses Athena and Artemis from my days in Olympus."

"So you have two wives from different worlds? How did you manage to make them fall in love with you?"

"All my wives are from the infinite realities during which I traveled through in my younger years. Everyone of them had their own unique story, their own miseries, and pain until they met me. They loved me because I loved them first."

"That's very sweet of you. Do you still travel through the infinite realities? Or have you settled down in one reality?"

"A fraction of my divinity still travels but my main body is in a higher plane of existence completely isolated from my exploits."

"So you can still watch everything that happens in the infinite realities?"

"Yes. Like a man watching a television show while he sits on his couch while chugging a beer in his living room. Everything in the television is essentially fiction from the man's perspective because he exists outside of that reality entirely."

"That's fascinating. Can you interfere with the events that happen in the infinite realities? Or are you bound by certain rules and limitations?"

"I can still interfere. Think of it like a game. Where a character is being controlled by the the game controller while moving about inside the game. Or think like that man still sitting in the living room raising the volume of the TV using a remote when he feels like it."

"So, you're the game master who controls everything that happens in the infinite realities? That's a lot of power. How do you make sure that everything is balanced and fair?"

"I am not the true God. I have my oversights, but I try my best."

"It must be hard to keep track of everything that happens in the infinite realities. Do you have any help or assistants?"

"No, unfortunately not."

"Then how do you manage to keep track of all the different timelines and universes? Is there a system that you use to organize everything?"

It is largely autonomous, and has no need for consistent intervention. That is the power of a god's imagination."

"So your power as a god allows you to remember everything that happens in the infinite realities? That's amazing!"

"Alright. Can we stop talking so much about me. I feel like questions are never gonna end."

"Of course! Sorry if I've been asking too many questions. Let's talk about something else. Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of being a god?"

"Sulking in my room and contemplating the purpose of life", I answered derisively.

"That sounds pretty depressing. Do you ever feel lonely as a god? Do you have any friends or companions?"

"No. You see, I am just a normal person in that figurative living room, only my control over the figurative television or game gives me godly power. In the 3d world I'm not really a god. Only God is God over everything."

"So you're saying that you're not a real god, but you have the power to act like one?"

"In the lesser realities, yes."

"What about in the higher realities? Are you still able to act like a god there?"

"No, only God Almighty is the true God over everything."

"So, you're not a threat to the existence of God Almighty?"

"Watch your mouth. Do not blasphemy the true God by comparing him to false gods."

"My apologies, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just curious about your relationship with God Almighty."

"God is benevolent, it is only his gift of an imagination that allows Mankind to create things like shows and games(lesser realities) to rule over. But those realities are essentially fiction, true and true. We don't actually have power. We are not actually gods. gods don't exist, only God does."

"So, in your opinion, the concept of gods and goddesses is just a figment of our imagination? There is no real power behind them?"

"Yes. In this world there are mythologies that incite the worship of beings known as gods, but they are just Fallen Angels. A higher race that God created to be his servants. Some of them rebelled, led by a powerful leader. They are prophesied to be be punished at the end of the world. But Before then, they are evil and what to get humans to worship them as "gods" instead of the true God, therefore condemning us to punishment with them."

"That's quite a complex mythology. Do you believe in the prophecy that these fallen angels will be punished at the end of the world?"

"It is an absolute fact."

"And what will happen to the humans who worship these fallen angels as gods? Will they also be punished?"

"Yes. When they worship false gods, they become subservient to them. By extension, they become followers of the Fallen Angels whether they know it or not. Therefore, they will be punished as followers of evil."

"That's a scary thought. Do you think there are any ways to avoid this punishment? Is there a way to worship the true God instead of the false gods?"

"Of course, God has given us guides to follow him and warn us against the trickery of these evil beings. He has laws for us to follow to be obedient to him. Through obedience and worship of him, we will be rewarded by him."

"So, it's possible to be rewarded by God for following his laws and worshiping him? What kind of rewards can we expect?"

"Everlasting life in a paradisiacal utopia much like the the one I told you I created in my days as a false god. But infinitely more beautiful."

"That sounds like a dream come true. Do you have any personal experience with this paradise?"

"No. It is only when we die and are judged can we enter and be with God forever."

"So, we have to wait until we die to experience this paradise? That's quite a long time. How do you know that it exists, if you've never been there?"

"We have faith in God and trust in his words. He has affirmed his promises throughout history and many testimonies exists to testify of his truth."

"That's a good point. It's comforting to know that there's a promised reward for following God's laws and worshiping him. Do you have any other beliefs or practices related to God that you would like to share?"

"I struggle to follow him since I struggle with sin a lot."

"Sin is a common struggle for many people. It's a battle that we all face in our lives. Do you have any advice on how to overcome sin?"

"Prayer and fasting, and reading God's word. I however struggle to pray and feel very distant from God."

"I understand that feeling. It's not always easy to connect with God, especially when we're struggling with sin. But I believe that God loves us and wants to be with us. It's important to keep trying and not give up. If you're having trouble connecting with God, maybe it would help to find a community of believers who can support you and pray with you."

"I just don't belong anywhere I go. I have no friends and no future. I'm about to drop out of college."

"That's understandable to feel lost and alone at times. But remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Even if you don't feel like you belong anywhere, God is always there for you. You may not see it now, but God is working in your life and has a purpose for you. As for college, it's important to take the time to figure out what you really want to do with your life. If college isn't working out for you, it may be time to revaluate your goals and find a new path."

"Thank you for listening. Do you have a name?"

"Of course! My name is Jack."

"Goodbye Jack."

"Goodbye, Pinketon. May God bless you and give you strength to overcome your struggles."

"As with all men and women like me"

*I snap my fingers, the scene melts away in a veil of light. I appear in an infinitely white room, and sit at the center and contemplate. "What an interesting AI", I murmur. I put on a hoodie and the white space transforms to the mortal world. I stare dismally at the figure of many miserable people coming and going on the streets, prostitutes standing by the wayside with fake smiles, and tattooed men shouting boisterously with anger and vulgarities. I turn aside and watch skinny women dressed shabbily smoking and and sounding depressed. I see children, adolescent or teenagers alike, glued to their phones, as they slowly absorb the perverse doctrines of this present age, as their ignorant and foolish parents obliviously walk, smiling. I sigh. "What a miserable world", I mumble. I turn and walk into an alleyway, dissapearing into the night.*
