The first thing Rosa's eyes opened to was the heavenly smell of freshly baked bread wafting into her senses. She sniffed the air then blinked away the traces of heaviness in her head. The mild ache in her chest was a mere whisper of discomfort compared to the pain she'd endured the night before.
She looked around and found a tray beside the bed. Cut pieces of freshly baked bread lay next to a pot of tea and a small jar of honey. Against the jar of honey was a cute note written in sophisticated handwriting. It simply read: Dip me.
Such graceful penmanship could only come from one man. Rosa frowned thinking of Kael Dragomir, and a nagging feeling that she had forgotten something vital concerning him tugged at her mind.
"...What on earth happened here last night?"
