CHAPTER 22
She gasped when the words hit her. And Storm rolled his eyes at her overly dramatic act.
"No. Not that it is a bad idea but no. Because I need you to trust me. So, I figured you'd feel more comfortable talking if we were in a place you felt safe." He continued walking.
"How do you know I wouldn't feel safe in my room?"
Storm stopped and turned.
"Well?"
"Because, I'm going to show you the real me, the person I am behind closed doors."
Raven raised her brows, surprised. "O...kay."
He turned away and continued. "Here we are," Storm announced.
Raven walked in and immediately her jaw dropped.
The room was spacious. The walls were painted gold and black, decorated with art pieces and bookshelves, filled with books.
There were pictures and medals on the walls. Her eyes drifted towards the king-sized bed that had a huge red carpet beneath it, black pillows and covers.
