"Tell me is he threatening you?"
"And if he is, what are you going to do about it?" Raven's response made Kent's jaw drop. "Exactly." She breathed out. "No. He isn't."
"B-but your scent."
"I am his event planner for his pack festivies soon. We shared a dance."
"I didn't see you out on the dance floor. I checked."
"What? You stalking me now?"
"No, no, no." Kent shook his head.
"We weren't in sight on the dance floor. Then I felt ,lightheaded and went home." Raven withdrew her hand and walked close to the other sofa in the living room.
Kent studied her briefly. "Wait, Raven. Are you perhaps doing all these to avoid me?"
She scoffed, turning as she placed a hand on her hip. "And why would I bother doing that?"
"For starters, because of my proposal for you to be my girlfriend."
