Chapter 89 - Chapter 89: Thoughts on the Book Being Published

TL/N: Yo this is not a chapter is just something the original author put out have fun.

I want to share some of my thoughts with everyone.

After more than a month and 200,000 words, this book is finally going to be published. When I suddenly received the notification that it would be going live tomorrow at noon, my feelings became a bit complicated.

It would be a lie to say that I don't want it to be published. After all, only after publication can there be any income. While I wrote this book out of personal interest, I'm not so noble as to do it purely out of love without any return.

The process of writing this book has been difficult, especially since it's a niche within a niche. I'm not expecting to make a lot of money; as long as I can earn a bit to cover my living expenses each month, I'll be satisfied. So, there's no way I'm going to give up. According to my outline, this book should easily reach one to two million words.

However, when I first started publishing, it happened to be during the National Day holiday, and the editors at Qidian were on break. I didn't know that at the time, and I thought my book was so bad that no editor was interested in it... As a result, my book didn't get signed until I had written 70,000 words. Looking back, I think it was pretty brave of me not to give up back then. Fortunately, I didn't, or we wouldn't be here now.

As a newcomer, I owe a lot to the readers who have supported me and helped my book get featured on Sanjiang. I sincerely thank you all! (orz)

Now, let's talk about the book itself.

As a fanfiction novel, my writing level is certainly far below that of The Lord of the Mysteries. This naturally means that not everyone will be satisfied. I can't please everyone. So, this note is also a bit of a heads-up, to prevent people from subscribing by mistake.

For those who have read up to this point and choose to stop, I hope we can part on good terms. For those who continue to follow the story, I can only say that I will do my best to write this book well. While it won't compare to the original The Lord of the Mysteries, I'll do my best to create a unique story!

Aside from that, I have some unfortunate news to share. I've been diagnosed with a rare chronic condition called Periodic Protein-Fat Deficiency (scientific name Insanus lovis). There's currently no effective cure, and the only treatment involves a biological agent developed by the American company Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). The treatment involves targeted therapy through the esophagus, reaching receptors in the stomach and small intestine to alleviate symptoms.

Today happens to be the day that this company lowers the price of the drug. So, I'm asking for kind-hearted people to donate 50 yuan to help me with my treatment.

orz!
