Chapter 21 - best friend

Advik got a phone call from Anvika on his journey back to his office, during which she expressed her desire to speak with him face-to-face.

He was so excited that he returned to Anvika's house right away and drove her to the top of the hill adjacent to their home.

Advik loves this spot so much that he constantly travels there to spend time by himself when he's feeling upbeat rather than depressed.

After acquiring the property, he turned it into his own little haven, decorated it uniquely for himself, and set up security to keep others out.

He had always intended to bring Anvika here and pop the question.

This location instantly sprang to mind when Anvika requested him if she may have a private conversation with him.

Anvika was ecstatic as she took in the entire city view from this location. In addition, there is a numerous and abundant assortment of healthy, well-maintained plants, including vibrant flowers, lush foliage, and possibly even trees and shrubs. The majority of the plants are Daises, which come in a variety of colors. Even a sizable cradle was suspended from the enormous mango.

Seated on the bench, we could see the dawn and sunset; it was very breathtaking. The seat is surrounded by daisy plants.

Anvika's favorite flower is daisies, and Advik is well aware of her preferences. In fact, he created this space based on Anvika's preferences.

Sitting in the vehicle and taking in the surroundings, Anvika said, "Oh my goodness, this spot is really magnificent. I loved it."

A beaming grin spread over Advik's face as he exited the vehicle and let Anvika out.

Anvika felt sorry for herself as she saw her bandaged leg; in the past, she had jumped out of the vehicle and sprinted about the area.

Advik carried her cautiously and led her to the seat in the center of the space before gently lowering her.

Afterwards, he sat next to her and took in the scenery.

"I admire you taking me here; I enjoyed every minute of it. When my injured leg heals, will you make arrangements to bring me back here?"

Advik grinned broadly and continued, "You are welcome to visit this location whenever you'd like; it is truly yours."

She blinked and glanced again at Advik when she suddenly felt as if Nivik was standing next to her. In reality, Advik was the one who seemed to be Nivik to her.

Suddenly, Anvika remembered why she and Advik had come to talk.

She responded right away, "In truth, all I'm asking is for you to take me somewhere so I might speak to you privately."

Anvika was hesitant to say anything more.

Advik was rather eager to hear what she had to say.

"Please don't be embarrassed to speak out."

"I'm sure you've previously overheard what I shouted over the phone to my father. I merely wanted to be sure since, to be honest, I'm not really sure what I feel.

Please refrain from disclosing anybody about it. I realize it was a long time, but I only need four years. Could you hold this for me and keep it a secret from everyone else? I still had to finish my education as I was just 17 years old."

Advik was quite happy. 'She really does love me since she is telling me how much she cares right now and begging for four more years to finish her education.'

"I was genuinely afraid to tell anybody about this, so I intended to keep it confidential. I especially didn't want Nivik to know. Though I was afraid to tell him this, he really has a right to know it first."

'She won't want Nivik to know since he is her closest companion and she will discuss it with him first. If he finds out, she may treat him like her sister-in-law and their relationship may sour a little. What a foolish girl', he imagined for himself.

A hopeful glance at Advik, Anvika said, "Can you guarantee me in this?"

In reality, she intended to warn Advik not to inform Nivik about her love for him.

To him, however, it seemed to be conveyed differently.

Advik reasoned that 'it would be best to keep our connection a secret from others even if he and she are in love and that I must give her more time.'

Advik carefully took Anvika's palm in his and made a vow to her:" I'll keep quiet for four years, and when you feel ready to tell everyone, I'll back you. You have my word. I pledge not to disclose it to anybody. You may have your own independence."

Anvika was ecstatic—so ecstatic that she was afraid Advik would tell his brother about her love—but he ultimately agreed not to tell Nivik.

With joy, Anvika raised her little finger and inquired, making a pinky swear.

Advik chuckled, pointing to her small finger with his own, and promising to keep his pledge.

"Advik, you are the greatest. Thank you very much. Keep in mind that we made a pinky promise, which states that you shouldn't tell anyone—not even your mother or close friends—about this."

Advik said, "Ha baba, I swear, we will keep it confidential starting today."

Anvika joyfully exclaimed, "Best friend," and she reached across to shake his hand.

Advik remarked, "So we are close companions from now on," and they shook hands.

Advik predicted himself, 'Nice idea, as she wants to present me to everyone as her closest friend so that no one would find out about our connection.'

"Yes", Anvika joyfully remarked, "You are my best friend going forward."

'Since all relationships begin with friendship, it would be best to proceed cautiously', Advik said." closest buddy."

Anvika gave him a glance and said, "You are really very cute; I never thought you would be so friendly."

"How are you guys doing this? " They heard a voice, harsh and coming from behind them.

Anvika turned to observe Nivik's irate expression.
